I haven't had this reaction, and I tell anyone interested. I know a friend from HS who had RNY, and when she told me I just wanted all the info she could tell me. She looked great and I wanted to do that, hah.

Pam- DH Is allergic to antibiotics, and he's been sick for about a week (sinus and congestion problems). He went to the doc, and since he can't do antibiotics they gave him a shot of b-12.. and when he got home I medicated him with Sudafed (I swear by it for sinus problems).. the real one, that you get from the pharmacist(but still over the counter). That's my 2 cents, I think docs over-prescribe antibiotics.

She called and said a sheriff came by her house looking for me?! She told my mom, who called and told me. Then moms asking me what I did. I don't do 'illegal' things, besides speeding in my car.. So I have no idea what that's about. So I called my county's sheriff, the next county over, my city, the city next door.. no one had a dispatch to that house. So I called sister back, she said it was an older black man in a tan uniform in a white cop car. So had DH call the city police back, they said there are no officers in this vacinity with tan uniforms.. and if they were wearing a UNIFORM to call the cops if he shows up again.. and if it was a tan golf shirt, it could have been a private investigator. So, sister (who has become quite the pill popper) who is in a stupor, I didn't call back and ask if it was a uniform (which is what she said) or a golf shirt, just decided if someone is looking for me, they'll find me. They were using my maiden name too. Very weird, I can't think of what this is about. One of the departments asked if I had someone suing me for child support, an ex-husband, etc.. nope and nope! I really truely have NO IDEA why someone would be looking for me. And no one has me in their records, and said PI are only people who don't have to report dispatches. Whatever.. but if someone in a tan uniform shows up at my door, I'm calling 911 and hiding till they get here. Sounds creepy. DH thinks my sister might have hallucinated the whole thing, since she's been on a lot of legal & illegal drugs and sick latey. But if not, how weird is this?!

I bought 2 bags of stuff I don't like (Life saver stuff and tootsie roll stuff).. and DH bought 1 bag of m&m mini bags (which 2 are 1 serving, interestingly enough). We had 3 little bags of M&M's left over, he took 2.. and I had one. Was good, and it lasted a little while.. wasn't eating a handful at once, just one at a time And now we just have tootsie roll stuff left over.. and not a lot of it, so I'm going to throw it away.

Canned turkey and canned chicken have quite a bit of protein per can. It says 1 can= 2.5 servings, but I can eat at least 1/2 of it in 1 serving. (these are the rough estimates) 60calories per serving, 10-23g of protein per serving (turkey vs. chicken).

I love eggplant, whenever I make it, I always cut it up and soak it in salt for 30 minutes (to draw the moisture out and make it crispier when cooked). Then you brush off the salt before preparing. Ricotta is pretty good with pizza sauce (which I ordinarily do not like!!). I may have to try this, I have not had a good eggplant recipe since banding. I use to put it in not-so-healthy recipes This is our busy season too, so I have customers ringing me off the hook, on top of our accounting still out so I have to do her job... So I'm feeling overwhelmed. Chain smoking in between swapping offices. Her dad's funeral was yesterday so I'm praying she comes back Monday. Summer is pretty dead here, then August 30th it slams us. And it is chaotic until January. Everyone is getting their CD's and DVD's ready for the holidays. And boy, I've been seeing a LOT. We also have done some 50 cent, alicia keys, Jay-Z, Kanye West (I was surprised all of these artists go with the CHEAP/boring inserts) this week. Did some Queen, and 30 Days (tv show with the guy from Supersize Me, I watched it for a little while), Dante's Cove.. which I've heard of but never seen, and looking at the cover I have to say it looks like an eye-candy show. My tummy is upset right now, not sure why. I guess anxiety of knowing it's going to be yet another long day. I slept from about 7pm last night till 8am this morning. 13 hours! And I'm still exhausted. I don't know what to do anymore for this fatigue. The meeting with customer yesterday.. the artist girl who told the customer girl I actually talk to the lies about XYZ, was there. I've never met her, never talked to her. And good for her, she didn't bring up the lie with me sitting there. She did mention.. how their stuff is 'unprofessional' with quotations in the air. That's something I said to the girl I am dealing with.. when she said they are professional graphic artists (my ass!). They did a whole yearbook on POWER POINT. Anyone who knows anything about graphic art, knows Power Point is NOT NOT NOT a graphic art program. And they didn't know what CMYK is. I'm telling ya, I do graphic art as merely a hobby and I knew more than they did. They were like any joe schmoe off the street who thinks you can use whatever comes on Windows to produce a professional printable book. So she did the quotations in the air and 'unprofessional' a few times, to make sure I knew she was offended by me saying this to the other girl. Oh well, she's not hosing me over.. its her 'client'. Looks like we're moving forward, they're bringing in new half-ass artwork on Monday and we're going from there. Hope everyone is enjoying November so far

Aww how cute Judy!! Kat- You're absolutely right, thank you for the reminders!!! I am here to vent to you guys, but in reality when she comes, I will be polite, and the main point (in my mind) is we need to move FORWARD. She can keep telling everyone it's my fault, but that's not going to resolve anything on this tight deadline. So I plan to just say, sorry for the misunderstanding, but this is what we need to do to move forward. Bosses are on my side, they know I know graphics enough not to have told her that. But it's a big joke right now, everyone that is suppose to meet with her today (with me.. re: prepress) is actually GONE and the meeting is in 30 minutes, I told him I'd kill him if he leaves me here. The whole reason they are coming down, is because he wouldn't call her (it's not his job to deal with customers, that's my job..) but she's a pushy pushy woman, even wanted to speak to the CEO (she thinks she'll get somewhere doing that.. reality, she won't, the CEO is behind the scenes doing the books.. has nothing to do with projects going in and out). Anyway, I'm just waiting to see what her motive is. Does she think we will FIX her problems, because she says I told her this? Or is she expecting a discount? That's the bottom line, I'm anxious to see why she's trying to push that I told her this. I'm going to go with, I'm sorry you misunderstood, but to move forward we need this ___, and hopefully go from there. I ran in here to have a snack *kudos bar* and a smoke before she gets here. Wooosh.

16lbs in 1 month is awesome! I would love that LOL! Remind her to be patient, because if 16lbs disappoint her, she might be in for a rough ride. I 'average' 8lbs a month now. And thats really 1lb this week, 3lb this week, etc.

My poor dog was being yelled at, that's the 'but but but..' look on her face. I had taken about 15 pics by then, and she kept wanting to run off and I kept yelling 'SIT DOWN!' and 'STAY!' so.. that's why the face. She got her favorite treats afterward, so she's not too 'poor'.

ROFL PAM! That is SCARY!!! We had quite a bit of trick or treaters. My mom, granny and aunt came over. We watched Bug (with Ashley Judd) while I passed out candy. Was a weird movie, not at all as good as I hoped, but definitely weird. My Granny brought some CD's she wanted me to re-burn for her because her CD's are getting scratched. One is an Alan Jackson singing gospel hymns. It's cry-worthy. I've been listening to Old Rugged Cross and getting misty eyed. I got a huge order today, yay! And I have the meeting with my customer from hell at 1pm. Think of me, I've got to fight so hard to be nice to her, when she's trying to blame me for their own personal mess ups. Uhm.. nothing else exciting going on with me, oh except 274lbs today! Yayaya!

Pam- The '65' is actually for a total of 5 weeks. And I am doing what it says to do in the syllabus. That's why I wrote her asking WHY is it 65, what did I not do that I'm required to do, so the next 5 weeks I don't get another D. She still hasn't responded. This week is just crazy. I am going nutso, I need xanax!! This one customer that is a thorn in my toenail.. she is upset with ME because HER graphic people are incompetent. Long story short, she wants to speak to the CEO. CEO has NO IDEA about how the graphics stuff work, and I told her that. She didn't care. So poor CEO, I had to make her listen to this lady bitch. And the lady MADE UP LIES about me. She said I told her they could do XYZ.. and XYZ isn't compatible with us, and I know these things. I would never in my life said she could send in art like that. She's really mad at ME because I take so long answering her. The problem is, the things she has problems with have to go through our prepress, and HE decides how long he's going to take to get back to me. And I kept telling her that, she left me voicemails every 30 minutes yesterday (and we didn't have an answer till this morning). She thinks it's my fault, I'm not 'on the ball'. This is our busy season and everyone is busting their ass, and we're TRYING to make sense of her shoddy artwork, but this is our fault somehow... oh wait, because I told her XYZ. SHE'S CALLING AGAIN. FFS.

Just my quick little advice, you need to tell someone above him. By law, they have to investigate. We had this happen at work recently, and we had to keep a paper trail and sign acknowledgements that management was notified and it is being resolved. It may be emberassing but, in the long run it's better you put an end to it now before it turns into a Lifetime story plot

If I drink when I eat, it's almost an instant PB.. but the milk in cereal doesn't have that effect on me.

I am finishing a liberal arts degree. I found out last summer I could get it if I just take 6 more classes. So I'm taking Philosophy (the one I got a 65 in for participation GRR!), Biology Lab.. and next semester I am taking World Religion, Chemistry, and 2 more liberal art elective classes (undecided). That's basically all I needed for this degree was some electives and a couple more science classes. But the more I think about that 65, the more mad I get. The class participation is to write a 'discussion' about whatever subject she gives us. I do it thoroughly and 'thoughtfully'.. every single week. I would think if she doesn't like what I have to say, I would at least get 80 for DOING it every week. I'm really baffled. I wonder if it has to do with the fact I had no sympathy for the homeless.. she seemed real liberal and hippy- help the people blah blah.. and I wrote an article saying quite the opposite.. That wouldn't be fair of her though.

I think I may be gaining weight. Been bouncing between higher numbers lately 278-280. Boo. (and not Halloween Boo!) As for that class, the grade was like 111/147 or something which equalled 65.. so it was 65%. I am still waiting for her to write me back and let me know what I'm not doing right. Happy Halloween ya'll! My mom and granny are comin to my house this year, to keep me company while I do the trick or treaters.. they said they're both too old and don't have kids so they want to relax lol. I think we're going to watch some scary movies.

Hey guys. Been one hell of a day, been so busy and stressed with work and my sister. Got home, and DH still isn't doin stuff around here he keeps putting off, I'm about to blow my lid!!!!! On top of that, I check my classes, and I got a 65..65!?! on participation. Participation is, we have to write an essay every week on the material. I do this every friggin week. And I get a 65?! I'm pissed off. I wrote the teacher a letter asking what the hell I got a 65 for. I'm doing exactly what she asked. I'm a straight A student, so I don't know what this is about. She's gonna ruin my honors and I don't even know why! I'm going to take sleeping pills and end this day. Too much excitement

Morning ladies!! About the jeans, I do not shop for clothes in person, so someone else might have better suggestions in that department. Lane Bryant, Wal-Mart, etc.. all plus size pants fit bad on me, I don't have hips, so they poof out, and I'm tall, so I need longer inseams. I get 100% of my pants from alloy.com You can specify the inseam you want, so that's my bonus. As for the hips, they don't have any 'built in' shapes to the hip area, so they fit me perfectly. They are all low-medium cut, fitted on the thighs, then flare out either a little (boot cut) or a lot (flare). They started selling 'skinny jeans' BLECH I can't believe someone wants those to make a come back. They have got to be the most unflattering pants in the world. Even on anorexic skinny people, it makes them look fat. Anyway.. I can point out jeans in Alloy that would look great on your figure, but it looks like God blessed you with the curvy hips (waaaaaaah) so you could wear the hippy plus size pants I always see at stores. The jeans in the picture you posted look like men's jeans.. does nothing to show off your figure and even poofs out (I'm betting they're too big because of the weight you lost!!). Running late again today at work, mouth is dry and icky. Forgot my yogurt, so I'm having a fruit leather for b'fast.

Have you tried Care Credit? They gave me a line of credit when I was fairly new to the credit thing.
