Some games I like to play with friends when we get drunk.. board games-- What The F#$%? It's a cheap game, and asks some really funny questions where you guess what they would answer.. and whoever is wrong-drinks. Lots of laughs. Battle of the Sexes, but I didn't see you mention men, so that is out if it's all girls. Poker.. we do nickels & dimes for chips so it's not too expensive. That being said, I will likely spend New Years watching TV.

Well Violet Sisters, I had to pat us all on the back.. Our year in review.. We all got the band in April. We had losses. We had gains. We had spouse issues. We had children issues. We had in-law problems. We had parental problems. We had financial woes. We had work woes. We made it to the half-way mark. We made it past that. We made new resolutions. We conquered. We failed. We loved. We lost. We gave up hope. Then we kicked each other in the pants and got back on the horse. We made it here. We got through Thanksgiving. We made it through Christmas. We PB'd. And above all, we're still going!! So good luck on the New Year, go us!! :whoo::clap2:

I lost 3-4lbs this week.. and I did endulge in holiday treats a few times.. :guess I stayed away from the eggnog and cappuccinos and hot chocolate.. decided I would splurge on things that would at least give me some sense of having eaten hah hah.

256lbs for 2 days solid. WOOT. I'm almost to the 240's yaaay. My weight loss is pretty steady lately.. shouldn't say that, watch me jinx myself! Went to inlaws last night.. they got us a george foreman, a fairy trinket, DH got some clothes.. then they tried to give us $200 and DH wouldn't let them. She made ham with mushroom casserole(wow this was awesome.. no one in my fam likes mushrooms so I never have had fun mushroom dishes..got the recipe, going to make it for a full meal sometime), asparagus, coleslaw, and sweet potatos. I took a little bit of everything to be nice.. mushrooms ended up being so good, before I moved onto anything else I got a normal size spoon of it. I ate that, and had no room for anything else. Then it hit me.. the nausea. I don't know why I get this.. does anyone else???? I don't see people talk about it It's like I have the flu all of a sudden. So I couldn't excuse myself, had to bee-line to the bathroom. Threw up.. came back and the rest of the night was uneventful. They gave me a glass of wine, and as we walked out the door I had only had a sip of it. So not to waste, I downed the glass of wine really quick. Woo. I had a nice little buzz for the first 30m of our drive home. We had xmas b'fast with moms family yesterday morning. I knew better, I really did. They were making grits, eggs, sausage and bacon. The sausage looked so yum.. I took a piece, ate it slow.. but at 10am I can't do solids, much less hard solids. I was spitting that up for a while. All in all things went good. Hope everyone else's went good. And I think it was Denise? Who got all that perfume for xmas! Wowser.

I am so tight I can't eat meat right now.. polish dog is food porn!!

Oh, DH also got me a water foot massaging contraption. I just did it for 15m..while eating some Kisses out of my stocking (oopsie).. it was pretty relaxing!

OMG WHY DOES IT ERASE POSTS?!?!?!?!? It refreshes itself. I am going to start typing posts word and pasting it here. Man that sucks, I had a long post about my xmas eve :rose: GAH!!!! Ok let’s see.. my fam celebrates on the eve (mom dad siblings & spouses). DH Got me a LOT.. Now I know I didn’t get him as much as he got me, I was surprised, normally it’s the other way around. He got me an envelope that had 2 small envelopes inside. First one said.. -$250 clothing shopping spree for CLOTHES THAT FIT! I will even come along, no complaining! -1 trip to Franklin to resize your rings (it’s in TN) -One fancy dinner at restaurant of your choice. Second one.. Picture of a pistol that said “Congrats on your first gun! You will receive after taking the NRA Pistol Safety Training Course also included”. WOW! I know this sounds bizarre, but that is really exciting for me. I’ve never even seen a gun in person. For years we talked about getting one just to have, and he said not till I learn how to shoot one, and we always forget about it. So I’m psyched. My mom gave us a 30m lecture on.. when we have kids, if we don’t keep it in a safe she will ‘kick our asses’. EEP! He also gave me a bag full of anti-bacterial hand stuff (I am addicted to this stuff), a smelly candle (Apple), and (this whole bag was stuff he hates lol) a Red Lobster gift card.. he is allergic to smelly stuff and seafood.. so this was an all me bag and some cute picture frames… My parents gave me a good amount of cash, I knew they were, so been trying to decide what to do with it. I think I’m going to get the Dyson animal vacuum. They have it, and it’s amazing. It picks up every iota of cat hair.. and we have a LOT. I could never justify the price though. But for xmas, hmmm. They also got me a SUPER CUTE suede jacket from Coldwater Creek. I didn’t know they had plus or cute stuff. They got me 3x said they didn’t know what size I wear now. It’s waaaay too big, so I think we’re going this week to exchange it for (gasp) possibly a 1x! Posting a pic of it at the bottom, found it on their website. Oh and if anyone wants to shop there, they are $$$ but they are having EVERYTHING 1/2 off until this Friday. Wow. I am going to order a shirt or two. Anyway.. they also got me a new phone.. it’s very lightweight, and a little smaller than my current one. I was just in need of a new phone, old one dies every day. My sister got me a fairy candle.. it is purple (fav color!) carved to look like amethyst (my birthstone) that turns into a fairy (woot!). It’s very cute. My brother got us a gift card to Best Buy. DH is currently playing one of his new Xbox games (men..) Bigs.. it’s a baseball game of some kind. Lots of fun tonight, tomorrow we have to get up early for my Granny’s xmas and then off to TN for DH’s family xmas. Hope everyone has as much fun as I did tonight!!!

Jenn- Yup and my cats are my kids, and the cats I've lost just devastate me. The only good thing is when a cat dies, it means I get to fall in love all over again with a new one. I hope you find that new kitty that steals your heart :rose:

((JENN)) So sorry, I know how you feel. I don't post much on weekends cause I rarely get on the computer during the weekend... I get burned out. But I HAD to come say MERRY CHRISTMAS VIOLETS!! Have a safe and fun and loving and magical one! :whoo: And I will be thinking about my girls here!

Denise- That's so neat, I've seen those detail scans before, I didn't know they were common! Terri- I'm same way, I can't eat any meats really.. I down my IDS New Whey protein tubes though.. and I drink low-sodium V8 when I think about it. I am riding out the tightness till I get to good restriction. My doc underfills me or overfills me, never gets me at the right spot, so taking it into my own hands! My bro texted me this morning that my shop in SecondLife was on tv last night. I am so giddy, first I thought ON WHAT?! Now I'm waiting for him to wake up and answer me. I don't want to be too excited.. he's only seen it a handful of times and I can't believe he'd remember what my shop was to begin with. But if he tells me what it was on, I'm going to go find whatever it is so I can see it lol.

We only had x-mas day off, but since 99% of our customers are closed on Monday, they decided we're closed Monday & Tuesday. But in reality all our customers are closed today too. So I decided we're leaving here at 3, 2 hours early.. but IT IS SO SLOW!!! I've had 2 phone calls, from an employee that was lost on a backroad, and a customer wanting a turn time. That's it. I'm so bored I can't take it. Normally I am swamped with work and the days go by, so on top of anticipating a 4-day weekend, I just can't make this day go by. 2 more hours.. of.. nothing. I brought a book I'm reading to work, but only have 15 pages left... Anyone else bored as hell at work?! :faint:

The best thing I can recommend, from experience.. DON'T HAVE IT IN THE HOUSE!! Throw out all the cookies & cakes. I had to. I had to get rid of all snacks or foods that are bad and tempt me.. I can't resist temptation. That's why I had 2 chocolates last night, my parents keep that crap in their house.. an I went to visit and had 2.

Ouch losing.. you win. I thought my bosses were scrooges not giving us monday off (initially).. Then again, my dad is making me go to the mall with him, and there's all those poor people that are working there.. I sympathize kind of.. I worked at Hobby Lobby during the holidays when I was younger.. Hobby Lobby with their antique cash registers where you have to key everything in, and refunds have to be written out on paper.. and the elderly women who are returning $.01 items by the handfuls during the Christmas sale.. I digress. Maybe this hour won't be too bad LOL! (55 minutes!) I am going to go check out pogo

1 hour and 4 minutes to go.. book is finished.. heating up my chicken & dumplings even though I know I'm too tight to eat.. Ho hum, should at least pass the time when I start PBing!

I had 1/2 cup of coffee w/ sweet-n-low for b'fast. Brought leftover chicken & dumplings for lunch.. but I just ate a white chocolate turtle and it got stuck and I'm way too tight to be eating right now. Will be having chicken & dumplings for dinner!

I'm bored, so bored so bored. Excruciatingly bored. All of our customers are closed today, so nothing's going on. I'm getting off at 3pm.. people that went to lunch said traffic is backed up for miles (we're .5 miles from the mall). Blah. I wanna be home.

Yesterday, I had 1/2 cup of chili from Chili's for lunch. Had the other 1/2 for dinner. 1/2 IDS Protein test tube for snack (hah). Then I had 2 chocolates from a gift basket.. and 1 tsp of stoneground mustard--not sure why, it was a novelty to me I guess..and smelled delicious.

Glad you guys brought this up! I've had the Lloyds brand from Krogers pre-band, and it's yummy. I never thought to get it now, figured the bbq is high in calories.. I'm going to have to buy some now! What an easy way to make dinner without the fuss.

Congratulations!! Make sure you take your pain meds & take it easy. Every day you'll feel a little bit better, and you'll be on your way before you know it!

I don't know how most people are, but I have been overweight my whole life, so I had all these tests prior to even considering surgery. I think a lot of docs if you're overweight and trying diets, etc.. they test those things routinely. My thryroid has been checked every few years since I was a kid.

Judy, I told you if you just gotta get rid of it, I'll take it off yer hands
