Wow sounds like everyone's had an exciting week & weekend!! Carson is much better now that the toof has broken the skin. Now we wait for the next one hah hah. Hurricane.. Ida, Ira, Iva? Whatever it is, giving us some bad storms today, and it went from 70's to 50's in 2 hours, glad I keep a coat at work for emergencies!! Went for coffee with 2 friends I grew up with, we've made a set-in-stone coffee date once a week. We all live in different cities (all within 30m of each other), so we rotate cities. We were only getting together once in a while, but we have such a good time, we've decided every Monday no matter what! I love it, it's me time and we get to reminisce about sneaking out of the house when we were 13 hehehe. One of them has a 1.5 year old boy and they are opening a vintage shop Saturday, so I'm going to take Carson to the grand opening! So I guess that's it on my end! Ya'll keep on telling stories, I enjoy reading it in my down time heh!

Stuck at 267, thats ok for now. Back to PBing when I'm a naughty bandster.. and happy about it hah hah, haven't had a PB since Dec of last year before my band broke. I'm eating normal. Dry chicken is a no go, tortillas and queso YES. Hah. Carson is teething something horrible.. reminds me of Judy saying Grady would just cry and cry. Carson has spent the past 2 days wailing in my arms, no matter what I do, he's not happy. Cries cries cries, nothing helps. Not sleeping good either suddenly. We finally got him sleeping through the night a few weeks ago, and now he's up every 30m just crying, in pain. I feel a little tooth bud in the bottom, it needs to come on!!!!!!!! So that's what I've been up to.

Awww Grady is too cute, especially with that red nose!!! I can't believe that long hair poking out. Why's my baby bald?! I had more trick or treaters than ever. FIrst time I ever RAN OUT of candy.. and by candy, I mean goldfishes. I was shocked to see, little kids would squeal and go "GOL-FEESHIS!" when I gave it to them, some even did little dances. I think they like those better than candy LOL. I would eat all the candy if I bought candy, so tried something new this year. Think I started a new tradition. Now, Carson is in bed by 6 at home, no matter what... some reason at mom's on Sat.'s he is up till 8pm. So she called and said she had him out on the porch with her, and he loved the costumes, and apparently would turn away from the darker looking costumes. She said it wasn't intentional, but someone went "Ohhh HI BABY" and Carson mimicked her and said "HI". I wish I was over there for that!! Me and Russ are playing video games together, having a lot of fun. Taking a short break to re-caffinate. Hope you all had fun!! Oh and one person came to the door dressed as "a poor hungry college student" and I said "Good thing I'm giving out goldfishes!" hah hah.

Happy Halloween Lovelies!!!!! Yes we had horrible storms and wind last night.. and now it's just dark and dreary.

I love the rare corn chowder that doesn't have potatoes in it (I don't like taters IN food). I had chips & cheese dip at Mexican Restaurant for lunch. Yup everything's fine, it's just normally when I'm on the forum I have Carson in my lap or I'm on my laptop (I refuse to type letters, etc. on laptops, fingers are too big). I never have anything real important to say, just babbling, and if it's too hard to type at the moment, I don't think to come back later just to babble (like now!). Carson is in bed by 6, but we have tried (in vain) to push back his bedtime, so he'll 'sleep in' later in the morning. He is up by 7am.. but anytime we try to keep him up later, even little at a time, it's a mess and he's so unhappy, so I gave up trying. Now I just enjoy we get home from work, Russ plays with him for an hour and I put him to bed, and we're free for the rest of the night. Knocking on wood, I hope we stay this way for a while!! I've gotten use to being up at 7, I just wake Russ up early now (Carson use to take a nap again around 8 and we'd get up at 9, be at work around 9:30)... now we just go into work around 8. That's so exciting about Grady moving, Carson hates tummy time I don't know if he's ever going to crawl! AND I am hungry for sweets, and seeing Reese Cups did not help. Ungh!!!!!!! lol SO glad I didn't buy real halloween candy this year.. I would be devouring it.

Well, he is in bed by 6, so no Halloween-ing for him.. he's going to my parents as usual for Saturdays. But I did get a costume, so he's been dressed up today :sad: See if you can guess hah hah. Oh and yes I'm fine, I have been reading the thread, just not much to say.

Restriction is perfect right now. No word on reimbursement, I just sent them an e-mail saying how Russ told me about it, and to have them keep me updated if they got any more info.

I am torn, i like the clean elegant look--but I love the personalization of the pics, and it's a good keepsake. If you like the swirlies, I have some great sets on my photoshop at work that would look nice. Haydee, make sure when you decide, you give me the printer's number so I make it in the best printable format for their presses!

OHHH MY GOD HAYDEE I LOVE IT!! I love love love those old windy trees, one of the best things about the Carolinas, it's so magical. Oh I can't wait.

I have broken out all over my face, not pimples, mom thinks poison ivy from our pumpkin carving.. I thought it was my pillows, a couple months ago I broke out from using new soap, so now I do all our sheets in Dreft, so last night I swapped them out (broke out bad yesterday morn) but today it's still bad. Itching too.. all over my face and neck are bumpy and red. Haydee check e-mail!

Haydee, mom doesn't put rice in her broccoli & cheese casserole.. it has ritz topping?? The chicken things aren't too hard, when dad gets to work I'll ask what temp/how long to cook.. But you just get a package of bacon, package of chicken breasts. Mix a box of brown sugar with about 1 tbsp of chili powder. Wrap small chunks of chicken with 1/2pc of bacon and roll it in the sugar mix.. that's it! Sounds so healthy :cursing: I'll e-mail you when dad gets to work. I had to drive 3 hours each way to get the fill. I was going alone since mom had Carson 2 nights and Russ had work to catch up on.. but then mom offered to go with me, so she did.

All is well with the world again, he took out .5cc, so I am at 1.5cc. I am at a great restriction...aahhhh WATER!! Haydee, which recipe.. broccoli cheese casserole one? We do Turkey day at granny's.. she has the smallest house, but it's a tradition. I go to mom's and help her make casseroles, and I normally make some pies from scratch that I find recipes for. Thinking about Turkey day, and yet all I want right now is water! Hah hah. We need better pics Pam!!

I would kill for a liquid diet right now LOL. I was thinking about liquid diets and how they suck, and I look at my bottles of water and I made broth last night... I can sip slowly and it builds up and about an hour after anything it finally comes up. I am dying for water.. Eh. Screw food, where's my liquids!! So glad I called them this morning, ends up he's running behind in surgeries so they're cancelling all non-emergency visits.. so they bumped me out an hour, and said he's having to run between hospital and office so plan to wait. It's finally hit me, I'm getting dehydrated.. weak and light headed and foaming, very dry foam that you could mold lol. Good news is I've not been hungry in 4 days :wink2:

Well this is another night waking up choking on puke taste and still can't get a sip of water to STAY down. Going to call my doc in the morn and drive down there. Ugh! Wonder how he's going to get to the port through all these steri-strips.

I've been blowing about 2lb of snot every morning now since I was 6m pregnant. I can vouche, that doesn't help with weight loss :thumbup: I am too tight right now, I am hoping it's just swelling from surgery..I can't hardly get liquids down, I am having to take teeny tiny sips and maybe 1oz at a time. I have been getting nauseated and waking up choking. Ugh. Paired with the pain it's not making for good nights. Toughing it out..

It's true, I was 280.8oz last night, 280.1oz this morning, and 279lb tonight. Mwhaha, bye bye 280.

Officially updating my stats. I weighed 280lb yesterday (good... ness.)

Thought I'd pop in before going to sleep. The hospital is so dang disorganized. I schedule it 2 weeksish ago with the nurse, she said be there at 8 for pre-op, surgery at 10. Yesterday TWO people from the hospital (nurse & admissions) called, and said be there at 8. I even went over the schedule with one of them. So this morning we're driving--ugh it was pouring rain and windy and dark..and after a couple hours on the road, about 30m away (at 7:20) mom called. She said hospital trying to call me, the number I gave them doesn't work (it did the day before???) so they called her to see where I was--I was suppose to be there at 6 for preop. Huh. So all that aside, I finally got in for surgery around 10:20. It took 2 hours. Russ said the doc brought my port out to show him, and had other docs come and document, so there's a lot of witnesses that the port was actually defective. It BROKE IN HALF!! He said there's no way Carson would have done it, it was a defect. So he's going to get in touch with Allergan and hopefully get reimbursement. I had a hard time waking up, and my throat is killing me. They gave me a huge bottle of liquid lortab, so I'm about to take some and hit the sheets. Haydee I so love your dress, looks a lot like mine except I had the weird cap sleeves. Thanks for all the good thoughts today!! ((HUGS))

No guarantees, but I also thought about super glue LOL.

Oh, funny babies, I have all kinds of little baby toys (key ring, pepper shaker, spoons, etc.) and Carson likes them alright, but he gets bored... so my mom put them in a tubberware bowl (which I stole from her), and he LOVES his 'bucket of toys'. He will sit with them in his lap, dump the bucket over, and I put them back, he shakes the bucket, etc. Funny how something as simple as a tubberware bowl can entertain baby for a while.
