You think 23 is cold, we've been in NEGATIVE with wind chill. I never even knew what that felt like. We had snow & ice today (?!?!?!?!) so we stayed home from work. Instead of enjoying it, I worked from home, took care of Carson and nursed.. either horrible horrible allergies or I'm getting sick.. UGH.

I'm alive!!! I looove bananas, and I can't eat them no matter how loose I am. I do it anyway and just PB.. Not much to say, working on getting Carson into normal sleep patterns, he's teething again, he cut his upper left front tooth, it just finally finished coming through all the way, now working on moving down. Still red and angry looking. I didn't gain ONE pound over the holidays. Didn't lose either, but if you saw what I was eating, not gaining an ounce is a miracle.. so I'm happy with that Way to go Michelle on the 5lb loss!! How's the wedding planning coming Haydee? We are suppose to get serious snow tomorrow or Friday, so bizarre, they said NEGATIVE degrees.. don't even know what that feels like, never been in that before. My parents are in the Bahamas, and mom is sad that it's cold this time (not freezing, but too cold to swim)..so nothing else to do. They've been trying to sight-see, but not much to see there... she said the oldest building is a water tower. Lol. Well, like I said not much to say, but wanted to let ya'll know I am here I read what ya'll are saying! I'm not gone. OH one more thing, when I first went to look at flights for Haydee's wedding, there were a couple around $140-$190.. I signed up on Yapta to keep me updaed on pricing. Within a week ALL tickets went to $350-$400?! And since then, nothing has gone below $350. Is that normal???? I am like what the hell, wish I'd known and I'd have bought the tickets then. Plus, it's never been that expensive to fly to TX.. I'm so confused. But at this rate, looks like I'm going solo.

Yeah I can't bring myself to put alcohol in his mouth lol. His bottom teeth weren't this bad I swear, but this top tooth oh my goodness. He was screaming, literally without pause for 12 hours yesterday, no matter what I did. Made me feel bad cause mommy can't comfort him Isn't that what mommies are suppose to do?? I got him benadryl though. We couldn't find infants, so I figured they don't make it. He has bad hives :biggrin: So I googled and found out they just pulled it since people abused benadryl for babies. So I bought the children's, and gave him a dose so small it probably won't help. His back is really bad this morning with hives. Going home from work early today since it's dead on holiday times. Friends coming over tonight so I gotta clean and cook snacks! Yeah that price was for everything.. well, everything she does. I had to pay for like the DJ, stuff, etc.. but it was $600 for her coordinating. And she was to be there the day of the wedding to sign off on things, get everything organized. I thought it was kind of expensive LOL. Right off the bat though, she had complete opposite opinions of the FEW things I knew I wanted, so she rubbed me the wrong way.. she would try to convince me why I need to do it the way she thinks.. but in any event, we ended up not having that wedding! It's true, get a good friend to help!!

Wow that's expensive, we hired a coordinator before we changed our mind, and she was $600 for the whole thing--coordinating and reserving everything for us, meeting with us to get everything picked out, etc.

I LOVE how it turned out, and the carpet is so comfortable, mmmmm. Carson broke out in hives from it of course, and today after only 2 days of it, you can see tufts of white car hair all over the place.. kind of good, now I know when I need to vaccuum.. which I have no problem doing, just never realized it got so bad so quick!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, all went pretty well here. My work computer is still broken!! Arggggh. I am home today, they're installing new carpet & wood in the entry area.. sooooo excited. I painted this weekend, all the areas out in the house that aren't painted yet so I don't drop paint on the new carpet. It looks good, when they finish the carpet, I'll show ya'll B&A pics.. I took Before friday. good times. Carson bein a stinker, gotta go now :thumbup:

I had to have my tube & port replaced post-baby... I swear I felt the day he kicked it loose, but my doc said the metal clip in the port eroded and snapped. I think what actually happened is it eroded, and his kicking snapped it in half. My first tell-tale of pregnancy at only 4weeks was incredible band tightness. I scheduled an unfill but they couldn't get me in for a month.. that day I took a test, found out I was pregnant, and went in earlier for a small unfill. Everything was fine till the band broke, which was about 6m into pregnancy.. then I ate like a cow, and gained a lot of weight. For baby 2 (one day) I'm going to keep fill as long as I can.

mmm indeed. I just keep making dozens and dozens of cookies I don't like I tried the breakfast casserole this weekend---LOVED it. That's going to be my christmas morning b'fast. I have been MIA- my work computer has been dead since last week. They finally gave up on it and said I need a new one--- no wait, they're going to give me the old server computer and get THEM a new one--..pff. I just sit at work playing with Carson and looking at my Blackberry. It's my dead week of the year anyway, 99 percent of my customers are off till the New Years. I even sent a few customers e-mails this morning and no one responded. Crickett crickett. I came home early today for lack of anything else to do--so I'm on laptop posting

Yes, yes.. I'm at work today. I think they need to schedule our party on a Friday night next year. I did see a lot of flashes go off, so someone somewhere took pics. Making my grocery list for our christmas potluck dinner next week and I'm going to try that casserole. YUM.

I've never tried fudge.. it's not something I can binge on, so not interested LOL.Too rich, I do like it once in a blue moon from Cracker Barrel though. Oh let's see, I had about 5 mudslides, 2 long islands, and 6 'surprise me waiter!' drinks.. one of those was a lightly flavored glass of vodka I know. They did make me get up there and sing karaoke, HR coordinated for sales to sing for everyone. I was drunk enough not to care, but I have no singer's voice, so I mostly just 'boogied'.. so almost table dancing.

Recovering from last night, I got so drunk at the xmas party last night, I can't remember last time I was drunk like that.. I don't normally drink enough to get drunk!!! But boy I was.. eeeeeeh. Ended up heavin in the toilet when I got home, and Russ stood there rubbing my neck <3 Got my fill of drunkness for the next 2-3 years. I'll forget again by then. Amidst all the alcohol, I ended up with me & russ' xmas bonus, and a gift card to walmart. Woowoo! I'm going to try that casserole this weekend, it sounds yummy.. right up my alley! Since the turkey & waffles didn't do it for me, still looking for our own personal Christmas morning food.

Hehehe, oldie but a goodie! Turkey waffles were alright, much more work than it was worth. Ended up kind of like chicken n dumplings, but with turkey. Russ liked it, so ta-da. I was trying to find some sort of special b'fast for us for xmas day, this isn't gonna be it. Lot of work and just a decent result. Andes cookies were a hit, everyone ate all 4 dozen at the cookout yesterday. We didn't take our choco chip cookies, those were for Russ, he ate a whole big plateful last night, yeesh. I haven't made the cookies *I* like yet, for all my 'tester' cookies, since I'd end up eating them.

Been a busy cooking bee today. Just finished a small turkey, I need the carcass to try Russ' mom's turkey waffles he raves on and on about. I make lots of cookies for xmas, so when I try new ones, I always practice.. so I made choco chip and right now andes mint cut-out cookies are in the oven. My allergies are so horrible today, the sinus rinse actually couldn't get through. I feel sick from bein so bad right now. UGH. And I need another fill... #$%!

That sounds horrible Heather, I would have freaked out, I hate driving over bridges, I couldn't have handled being stuck on one!!! Good thing you didn't spin out from the tire!! Yes, busy at work.. good thing, I gotta get my numbers up at the end of the year, all year my numbers have been down from last year. Boo. Going for a fill today.... yayayaya. Mom stayed home from work to watch Carson for us. I've been able to get so much work and phone calls handled.

Heather- Carson fake cries all the time. I go "YOU'RE JUST FOOLIN' MOMMY!" He will go from big smile to bawling (tear-free) to a big smile, if he gets what he wants (generally, it's me NOT walking out of the room).. Or my mom, he nows puts on a big stink if my mom comes to see him then leaves. He's definitely getting into the spoiled times.. But teething, he was a fussy boy then the week before he was miserable, keeping me up all hours of the night with no relief.. and then bam, tooth came through and he was back to his normal able-to-handle fussiness. He has both bottom teeth now!

I guess I'll keep my mouth shut on my thoughts about how Global Warming is just a way for politicians to control folks... I am going for a fill next Monday. I need like .3cc. I am at a good spot, but with a sip of water I can 'clear it out'. I just barely need more. Anyway, I'm not gaining weight, I'm still at 266.. I'll take it, considering how my T'day went!!
