Terry, the money I set aside to pay you, I should have just paid you! I ended up spending it all on NeNe Thomas crap. :thumbup: I will make the money back within 2 weeks doing my video game where I sell clothes, but I had the exact amount set aside just for you. I'm horrible like that!

I had one of those before, the ball is normally small enough to work through.. if not, are you sure the front doesn't unscrew? If all else fails, get some wire clippers and snip it off via the front.. put in the retainer, and buy a new piercing post-op.

I've been sick for the past month with a flu/cold/death? and it has not done anything with my band, drainage has done what it always did pre-band..

I have sugar.... and sweet-n-low in tea only cause I grew up with it and prefer it that way. But I don't use splenda and things like that in 99% of things that have sugar. Aurora Sky was my 'made up name' for my journal as a kid.. teehee.

In-Laws.. I feel ya ((Kat)) The fairy card you sent me was by Josaphine Wall.. When I first discovered her a couple years ago, I bought several posters, and I have bought a ton of greeting cards of hers whenever I stumble across them. My mom sent me several posters too (she really liked them). She never made things like figurines though, but she has the most intricate and picture-inside-picture paintings.. it's fantastic. Uhm... I took the OTC diet pills forever, Ephedra stuff is only thing that helped me. I am not hungry all day when I've had ephedra, and I'm full of energy. I always took them while doing a diet (re: atkins) and I think it helped me lose weight quicker. Post-Op, my surgeon was not a diet pill advocate. But post-op, pre-fill when I was complaining about hunger.. he gave me Phen--.. Apparently PhenPhen is made from Phenxxx and Phenyyyy.. and one of those is related with causing heart problems.. the other one is fine. So he gave me 'the other one'. He told me and even said to my mom "You're my witness, I will not be supplying her with diet pills". heh. I took like 2 weeks of it, it wasn't nearly as good as my ephedra, so I got rid of them. To this day, I still take ephedra pills occasionally, not just for the hunger curbing but the energy it gives me.

I was told I couldn't use the plastic retainers. HUH!

Yeah, the cat one I want on e-bay is at $900 I think. Then while looking around, I saw she did another equestrine one that I love "Serenity". Darn limited edition stuff. I can't find this one, even on e-bay. I'm really on the fence about it, I love figurines and collect them, so it's a bummer I can't get the ones I WANT.. but still neat the one I got is worth something.

Morning V's. Yesterday I had 4 bites of the weight control oatmeal.. 1/2c of honey chicken and 1/2c of fried rice (spread over 2 sessions).. 2 scrambled eggs, 1 sausage patty, 1/4c grits (maybe), and 2 bites of Coca Cola chocolate cake. Ok so, the people trying to sue me for the wrong crap.. well as I was about to go off on a rant, she just called and said they dropped it. Anyway, I had a drafted letter explaining I'm not the person they're looking for and blah blah.. then yesterday I got a letter saying the court date has been set. I was fuming. So I called the plaintiff today (dentist office) and explained to them, that the attorneys are horrible and they said they lost the file, and would call me back- but never did. So I complained to them basically, this is really annoying to me who did nothing to be summoned to a whole nother county for crap. So they called the attorney and had them call me. And they just said it's been dropped. I know what attorney I'm never hiring.. ho hum. DH left his credit card at the bar last night when we were bowling. He realized it was gone, then yellin' at ME, and I go "I didn't take it, why are you fussing at me??" and I'm helping him retrace his steps, he says "Last thing I used it for was cigarettes". And I go "What about the bar tab?"...What would men do without us??? I called the bowling alley, they had it.. the owner of the bowling alley is best friends with my dad, so I asked them to give it to him and we'll get it later. ------- AND SOME EXCITEMENT!!!! I am a fairy lover yeah.. well I collect all kinds of fairy stuff, always looking for new and unique.. and beautiful. A couple years ago I discovered an upcoming fairy artist, that IMO had the most beautiful fairy items I've ever seen. She is right up my alley frankly, she makes fairy stuff that I would make if I had talent. Anyway, so her first art gone statue was a horse/fairy.. I was so in love with it, I begged DH to let me pay $80 for it. That's pretty expensive for a figurine!! It was limited edition, eh whatever. So I gorged, here it is - Around the same time she also had one with a black cat, I liked it but I couldn't justify another $80. We were reeeeeally broke back then. Yesterday, I went looking to buy the other one -- And what do I find? She is now a famous fairy artist, and everyone wants her horse statues.. and they didn't make that many. Only 2 years later they sell from $800-$1,500. So needless to say, I'm not getting that 2nd one. BUT the one I have is worth some money! Who knew! I'm not selling it, but maybe my kids will one day.

They gotta go. If for some bizarre reason they had to shock you alive, them suckers would fry you. I know there's other reasons too, but I only paid attention to that one. I have nipple rings, took them out, and they went right back in when I woke up. Nose ring, you may just have to repierce, my personal experience with them, I accidentally ripped them out twice (the spiral straightened and they fell out), and before I could put them back in, the hole grew back.

Tub of frosting sounds pretty damn good now though. Back in bad binge days, I'd eat that rainbow chip frosting right out of the tub. The whole time thinking about some movie I saw as a kid, where some lady gets as big as a house and keeps her cabinets filled with tubs of frosting. BAD BAD BAD, evil thoughts go away.

Tsk tsk girls! I'd post the smiley like Tracy did of poking you with sticks! THROW IT AWAY!!!!!!!! Or get your co-worker too. OR SPIT ON IT (Yes, I do this sometimes.. how horrible). Or I pour my tea on my bad bad food if I'm out in public.

Such silly stuff, the band has evolved and slip rate is down with the new procedures. And it'll only get better. I would still be crippled if it weren't for the band. I'm young and getting younger by the minute, there's always an agenda with those negative band videos. It's one thing for a failed lap-band patient to do a video. I can't knock them, if they had a horrible experience and it didn't work for them (and it happens), then they need a platform to vent their frustration. I understand that. But a doctor saying these things is blatently ignorant, and trying to support a cause.. perhaps to get the more expensive surgeries to feed their pockets, or perhaps so that their statistics look better, and they aren't reprimanded for not wanting to perform the surgery that takes longer to lose the weight and mess up their personal statistics. Either way, it's bad practice.

LOL. You guys will love this. Despite how horrible the cookie is, I opened it. And I am so hungry, so I walk it to my co-worker and I am going "Guess how many calories are in this bad boy". She guesses 200, so I tell her, and I'm like "but I am so hungry!!" so I took a tiny piece and ate it and she's like "Give me that thing, don't eat it!" and she hands me a packet of that weight control oatmeal lol. So I just made some of that, the maple & brown sugar. It's not terrible (the banana one was I thought), but I'd still rather have a normal fruit & cream oatmeal packet=120 calories. She threw my cookie away.

Mornin V's! I ended up cookin around 10, hubby didn't get home till 11. But, he didn't miss anything. Apparently lamb sirloins (which is what I got) don't taste nearly as good as lamb chops or leg of lamb. I only ate 1 bite of it, and then ate half a can of the asparagus- right out of the can! Today is one of those odd days I'm actually hungry in the morning. I got an oatmeal cream pie cookie.. thing.. out of the vending machine. You ready for this? It's smaller than my fist, about .5" thick, and 470 calories!!!! I haven't opened it, I'm wondering.. is it 100% sugar formed into oatmeal shapes or what?! Luckily I grabbed a carton of milk too, so I'll forgo the "cookie" that is higher in calorie than a McDonald's meal. wth?!

I wish I could have gotten the band at 13 quite honestly.

Who's passing out the valiums?? Sign me up for 2! My car is an '04 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. They're girlie sports cars, but the newer models got rid of the 'stripes' in the side and made it look a lot more muscley.. I do NOT like it. But of course, a lot of people do NOT like what I have but like the newer models. Can't see it in that pic obviously, but the tail lights are really cool looking too. Kat are they at least giving you something for the pain while you wait?

My bro has that car. My car is the same way, people either love how it looks, or hate it. No indifference. And I love it.. and if someone else doesn't like it, I just say it's a good thing they didn't buy it then! Well, I started marinating some lamb steaks yesterday.. garlic, red wine, evoo, thyme, etc. serving with a sour cream sauce. Today DH found out he's got to work late and help accounting fix their software. I also planned some garlic roasted asparagus and a roasted fresh corn for him since he says I never make enough lol. So now what? I told him to let me know 30m before he heads home and I'll throw everything in the oven.. but he said "I'll be very late". I'm hungry!! I doubt it'll reheat well.. Anyone want to come over? :glare: This is my ride..

Well I am going to tell McDonalds I ate nothing but their cheeseburgers for the past year (when I get to goal) and get me a weight-loss at McDonald's contract! :biggrin:

I'm so bad at returning things, I gave up on renting DVD's and library books. I'd rather buy it used for 3 bucks from Amazon.com and not worry about late fees. DH use to read a crapload too, we currently have about 8 bookshelves PACKED with books. In our last move, I donated about 3 trashbags full of books to the goodwill. And we keep buying them. Now, when I finish a good book I leave it at our receptionist's desk with a note about it for anyone who wants it. I never read a book twice, can't do it! The last Bio I read a few months ago, Stolen Lives.. true story of the Morrocan(I think) princess whose family was arrested (5 kids from 3 years old-17 & mom) for the betrayal of their father on the government. They were in isolation for 17 years, abused, etc. It was so sad. I would recommend it, makes you appreciate what you have.

That's 100% how I feel Dashley. And when I hear about articles I posted, I get fumed all over again. I work full time, my husband works full time. At the end of the year, we have paid over $15,000 in taxes. And yet, we live paycheck to paycheck. This is WITHOUT kids. We worry about how we could possibly afford kids. Yet, we welfare pays for women to have kids.. no, they give them an excuse.. to have kids. And not work. I believe welfare has a purpose. But it should be regulated. It is now the excuse for people not to be productive in society. I watched a case where a woman was paying $50 for rent, and gov'n paid for $900 of it. Said woman was young, able bodied, with kids.. and another on the way. The judge asked her, why she doesn't get a job. Her answer? Because IF SHE GOT A JOB.. the gov'n would not pay for her rent. Well damn, I must be doing something wrong. Another instance, they had enough money 'saved up' from gov'n assistance.. to LOAN someone money. Thousands. I don't even have that much in savings. Another instance, the food stamps were used for drugs. It is infuriating for me, who lives paycheck to paycheck, knowing my money is going to fund 10 lazy people, and maybe 1 person who needs it. /end rant.
