Yeah, but I think I told ya'll at Christmas his dad told Russ he is leaving his mom. And then apparently the other day his dad finally packed and left.. but came back at night.

Allergan just called. Today they were to have the meeting with their board about my reimbursement. He asked if I had to pay for the new band (Yes) and what the cost of the new band was. I sent them my hospital bill total ($5,500), but I have the breakdown. I told him I'd fax him the breakdown... But it's kind of misleading, and I don't know why they care unless they're only going to give me reimbursement of the actual band? Argh. So he said send that over, and they will meet on it again next week. What I have, shows the actual band was $9,000. But then on my total page, the total hospital bill was $25,000... and then they adjusted it for a non-insured patient... $5,500. So what does that mean, the band was about $200 of it? HEH.

Sorry I keep forgetting to answer the tax thing cause I get distracted!! His mom never called to say anything to Russ, and apparently his dad was not home. And she told his brother not to say anything to the dad (I guess he doesn't know?!), and they left.. and no one knows what was said or what happened.

Poor Susanne, how weird you would think it would be YOU with the meat stuck!! Good thing she didn't choke!! Hah Jane, don't worry about it. It's just whoever has the most amount of comments, not what is said. I end up buying an 8x10 of whatever ones I like, so I'm not worried about winning the free print at the end of the year, I'll have already bought it. But thank you!! I loved how they turned out, I can't wait to see the rest. She didn't preview any of the hawaiian ones, and there were a lot of the record background that were cute when she was taking them. I'm MUCH happier with how these turned out than the 6m pics.

I'm here!! Carson has his 1 year pictures with the fancy photography place today. We're bringing themes this time, we were really disappointed with what they came up with for 6m pics. So we got a hawaiian shirt outfit, baseball outfit, and jeans and t-shirt. Also bringing baseball props borrowed from my uncle. Going to ask them to do a baseball theme, hawaiian theme, and then something antique-y with the jean & t-shirt.. like him standing up next to a tractor or whatever antique prop we see there.

Anyone watch Cougar Town? When she said "If they could make me tiny enough I would live in your blood" to her son..it made me laugh.

YES DVR Modern Family, it is heeeel-arious. Michelle & Haydee have fun on your trips! The rest of us folks will hold down the fort and slave away at work. Babyhood really does pass too quickly, I remember when he started pushing me away.. when for months he would just sleep on my chest, ahh.. then at 6m he got 'independent' like and would push me away and get mad if I tried to cuddle him. Now I cherish those times after I get him to sleep and I'm in the rocker and he lets me hold him to my chest.

Thanks Suzy I will try calling them and seeing what their classes are! Allergan called today (jeez it only took..6 months), and said my band is going before the committee on Tuesday for them to decide on reimbursement. Fingers crossed!!!

Gosh I've had a ridiculously busy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was planning to put Carson in infant survival swim classes before this summer (my parent's pool is already open for the season and he'll be walking any day now). But it's $450, and 10 minutes per class. 5 classes a week, for 6 weeks. If I was a stay at home mom I could do that, but that's ridiculous. It's out at the college, which is 30-40m from home/daycare. 20m from work. Can't swing that!!! I'm trying to google good information on teaching, all I keep finding are diagrams of how to hold a baby in the pool, videos of babies doing it, and links to classes.

That restaurant has the best Beef Wellington Jane.. Mmm. I've never found it that good anywhere else. Everyone go watch this commercial, it is so funny, I laugh everytime it comes on. YouTube - Apology. U by Kotex I didn't see new Ayla pics, guess I'll go check out FB

Busy busy busy bee!!! Have fun Haydee, these next few weeks will be a whirlwind I am sure. Glad the hair & make up worked out! Jane you made me laugh, I don't have secrets girl, I'm boring!!! :scared2: Finishing Glee and off to sleepy time. Carson feels so much better, THANK GOD!!!

Found a few videos to upload.. Blair Witchin: Caught him at the end of a 'bye bye' wave--then he saw the flip: Trying to get a bye-bye and got patty cake and whining for the flip..and he knew I wasn't leaving because I was about to put him to bed!!: Working the tivo.. he loves playing with tivo:

LOL.. Judy found her band mate!! I am googling how to handle 'terrible 2's' in a 1 year old. Not sure why they call it 2's, from my doc and everything I read--and what I see, it starts around 11m!! He throws the worst tantrums. I've been trying to let him pick out his clothes in the morning (giving him options), I heard letting them have some control makes them feel better. I don't know if he's really picking it out or just likes the picture better, but he will select a shirt and put it on top of his head. Oh and as for a video of him waving bye-bye or video of anything else, as soon as the Flip comes out he goes berserk wanting to get the flip. So no performances, he just comes directly to the flip and is trying to grab it. Blair witch style. In fact I took a video of that to prove it earlier this week, I'll upload in a few.

I'm gonna bet you didn't!

I texted Haydee yesterday askin about that gap between wedding & reception. She said mass is over at 3pm, and reception isn't till 6pm, so *I* plan on going back to the hotel and probably changing into something else. Not jeans & t-shirt.. but maybe khakis & button down top! Rehearsals I've ever been to WERE fancy, but they were held at fancy restaurants... hers is at Juan's moms' so maybe not. Maybe Haydee has a different answer. No one noticed I lost 2 more lbs!! :scared2:

Pam, groaning from the audience on that one "Head Out"!! Michelle, have fun shopping, retail therapy ALWAYS does it for me!!!!! More so than food ever did, I'm just not rich hah. As for wedding, since I am coming a day late/leaving a day early I booked my car yesterday. It's from the airport so I'll take a shuttle and pick up/drop off, etc. I got a midsize so if needed during the course of the weekend I can help drive folks around. I don't plan on drinking (much) if at all. I'm sharing a room with Jane, so someone remind her (hah, I e-mailed her but I am worried about being locked out) when ya'll all get there, to leave me a key at the desk or to put my name on the list so I can get a key when I get there in case ya'll are out doing something!!!! Jane, also let me know what my half will be for the May 14-16th, you can e-mail it, I just think you check this forum more than you check your e-mail!

My band is bein weird today. I've got good restriction, but all I've had this morn is water and orange 'drink'. Just took my allergy meds, which are teeny tiny pills and I feel like I just swalled a big bite of cheeseburger. I am nauseated and it hurts.. gah. How weird is that. Very thankful I didn't try eating my banana yet!!!!

About to go to Appleebee's for our date night & then grocery shopping. Tornaydos ain't keepin me down!! Actually it's been false alarms around here all day and NOW it finally is all over the tv showing tornados on the ground and the path etc. etc. I'm just pretending not to hear it. Mom will call me if I need to take cover, and some reason I always feel safer in public, like businesses KNOW the safe place in their shop.. where as I only assume I know the safe place in my house.

In honor of all furbabies that we've lost, and especially Mo today! Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

((((Michelle)))) You did the best thing for you, your family, AND Mo! The pain and guilt will pass.

So we had another rough night with him not being able to sleep with his ear infection. Then he actually sleeps IN in the morning and my mom calls and tells me I have to get up and watch the storms, the first big round is about to come through. Waaah I never get to sleep.

I just googled Judy, I never realized Aleve was an NSAID! I've *never* had problems taking it, and I didn't realize it was an NSAID and taken my extra precautions that I do with Advil. Advil and Rx NSAIDS are the only ones that I've ever had a problem if I didn't make sure to flush it down.

Michelle I just wanted to pip in about letting your kids know... We've had cats our whole life, most of them were outdoor and died by a car hitting them, things like that (such a different time, my cats have all been indoors I can't fathom 'outdoor cats' anymore). Anyway, we also had to put down a cat that kept attacking people. The attacking cat, I got to know about and say my goodbye.. and I'm still torn up about my favorite cat as a child that was runover, I remember mom picking me up from school and telling me and how horrible I felt that I didn't get to give her one last hug. my 2 cents is to let them know so they can give Mo one last big hug. It's not like they are little kids that don't understand, they're old enough to understand saying goodbye, especially with what's gone on lately for you guys. Rough year indeed, you're in my thoughts!!

And Michelle I am sorry about Mo, I know how hard that kind of decision is You have stuck it out much longer than I think we could have, you've been a good furbaby mommy.
