Hang in there Findjoy13, I'm 7 months and feeling excellent. I felt the same way, would i ever feel better. I certainly thought I was all by myself, but alas I wasn't. you will get there, just be patient and take it an hour at at time. Walkingt will help with the gas pain. If your not sipping your sleeping was what I was told. -

Okay, I'm 3 months out and am still suffering from frothing at the mouth. It seems to go away and then come back, but I dont see any changes in my eating habits. I can't seem to get to solid foods or even soft foods. I'm still just trying to get my Protein and Water in and that's become a struggle. Has anyone else suffered this as well? I"m getting so discouraged at this point. does anyone have any advice. I've tried warm water, cold water, tea (my stomach doesnt like tea, never did) warm milk, Thank you all for any help or advice. -
I've been having a very difficult time getting in my water in lately. It seems like I'm getting water logged, is anyone else having this issue. I'm 5 weeks out. Thanks!

Mine was 9/18 so I'm in the same place, I work in a small office so I warned them ahead of time. Oh what fun.

I'm burping all the time, eating, drinking. I posted the same thing a few weeks ago and it's pretty normal. Just frustrating. How long have you been out?
-
It was very hard, I found that timing myself was good, I sipped every two minutes, it finally got better. Some find warm water good, I found that the cold water went down better. Remember everything is still sore.

Thank you all, mine lasts for about 15-20 seconds as well.

No pain or fever.

Yes, take the pain medicine if you need it. I would get in the shower and let the warm water run on my back. It was relaxing. hang in there. -
Hi experts, Has anyone had any stomach spasms. I'm 4 weeks out and since Sunday my stomach has been having spasms. My nurse said to try some warm Water before my meals. any other ideas from you all. Thanks so much

This was the first thing I made when I went to the purreed stage. I copied the recipie from the recipies area. It freezes very well. I didnt use the green chilies as I thought it might be too hard on my stomach but the rest is excellent. White chicken Chili: 4 cans great northern Beans, 1 lb. chicken, 2 cloves garlic, 1 cup diced onion, 2 t. Oregano, 2 cans lowfat cream of chicken, 3 cups lowfat chicken broth, 1 can diced green chiles,6 oz low fat/fat free sour cream, and 2 cups low fat monterey jack shredded cheese. Cover your skillet with olive oil, add the diced onion, crushed garlic cloves, chicken (I added whole pieces and cut up later, but you can cut up beforehand if you want), and canned chilies. I set the stove top on about 4-5 and covered with a lid and let all of this cook together. I went ahead and got my larger pot ready and added the beans, cream of chicken, broth, and oregano and let this start heating up on low to medium heat. After about 10-15 minutes (when my chicken was cooked through) I added the skillet ingredients (I cut my chicken up at this time) into the pot so that everything could cook together. I cooked on medium heat for about 30 minutes. At the very end, we added the 6oz of sour cream and the cheese and let simmer for another 5-10 minutes and then it was ready to go. I added about a tsp of sour cream on top of Soup right before I ate it. (I am using this during my pureed stage, but will probably have it again once I move onto solid foods bc of the Protein and the ability to add unflavored Protein powder as well.)
