Thanks Besty on that report on strawberrys. I just returned from the SurgiCenter to get my little band unfill. I am now at 3.0 and have lost 53.6 lbs. They do not take everything out and make you can start over. I talked to the girls and they said yes Doctor Spiegel did say to do that but that only lasted for a few weeks. Ha-Ha. I wonder why????? They had me to sign all of those forms that I have to do everytime I go to the center but this time there was one extra. It was about him telling us if we wanted to lose the right amount of weight and to have the fills done right than we would have to go to him office to get the fill done by HIM. It was a strange thing when I sat down I started looking at all the forms and that one was not there. I asked the girl (who was new) where was that form and she said "Did you want a copy of that" uh yes. I wonder why they had me sign it but would not give it to me unless I asked for it. Makes you wonder whats going on. I told them that after my year was up I did not want to go to Doc. S. for my fills. They then let me talk to the business office manager Sandra Caruthers and yes she was very nice. She told me if I wanted to I could ask Doc. S. for all of me records and bring them to there Doctor at the center and see if he would accept me. But not sure if I want to do that. And one last thing. I asked Joy about what happens when I reach goal. How do I stop loseing? She said if I am loseing to much they will fill me just a little and that should do it. And she said that after a year they want to have a test done something like a upper GI where they go down and take a good look at what is going on to make sure everything is o.k. I think that is a good ideal. But of course that is the first I heard of that. I hope you all can under my writing. I feel so much better......

I agree with you, I think something is going on and the girls cannot talk about it. I can get them to say just enough to let me know that they know something. They are just doing there job. I WANT TO EAT !!!!! Suzanne.

5:30 works for me. I am getting a unfill on Tuesday. I am tired of never knowing when I can eat and when I cannot. Yesterday I was near tears bc I could not eat. But I could eat ice cream. (Great). I am having fits with all of this. I know that when they take out .1 or .2 than I will want to eat the house. I will have to get myself to the gym at least 3 times a week. And they have changed the name of the sugery center. Cannot remember the name. Suzanne.

I know what you are talking about with the husbands. My Michael does the so thing. And I have to say sometimes I just don`t tell him the truth. What I do in the bathroom is my business. Ha-Ha. Eating out is hard for me not sure why. Like today we are going on a bike trip and yes there will be eating, I told my Michael "Don`t you dare say anything today if I am having a hard time eating" It was almost to the point where I did not want to go bc I knew we would be eating out but I love riding way to much to stay home. One good thing is that I have good days and than a bad one will jump in. I am still loseing so it`s a good thing. I have now started back at the gym 3 days a week. So who know what could happen. It is hard not telling anyone. We are members of GWRRA (Gold Wing Road Riders Association N2 of Humble) and we ride and eat and ride some more. Always eating. And than off the DQ for ice cream. But for me I do a lot of drinking. A few people have asked me whats going on and why am I not eating, I tell them just whatevery pops into my head at the time. I hate not telling the truth. But I do not want them watching everything that goes into my mouth. And If I have to get up and run I don`t want them to say anything about it.

Poodles are you in the closet? I am and it is getting very hard to keep it that way. I think it is time to tell my kids about my surgery. I know my girls are going to be very upset with me for not telling them. But I know that they are not going to be happy about my band.

I am having a wonderful day. I CAN EAT. I think the reason is because I went to the meeting last night Ha-Ha.

I guess there is one good thing and that we all agree that there are some strange things going on with our bands. It is very hard for me to drink coffee and have my slimfast in the morning. But look out for the night time, I can eat everything and sometimes I do. And than several days later I cannot eat ice cream without having a sick feeling. BUT, I can eat chips and popcorn. There has to be a answer for this. I am going to my first group meeting tonight. I hope that I can learn what is going on. One thing I think is happeing is that we are a little unsure as to how we should be feeling and that every little something that we feel we start to worry. Suzanne.

I am with you Besty, I would like to reach my goal. We will just have to work harder to prove them all wrong. Can we do it, Yes We Can. Never Say Never. What do they know,They are only doctors. I wonder how many of them has had the band?
