    Sofla

Welcome Mikah! I'm from the SW coast of Florida, waiting on knee replacement. So I know a little about the pain. I'm just at 6wks and so far I'm pretty happy with the band. I have yoyo dieted for 40 yrs so my metabolism was nearly nonexistent. Between that & knees is the reason I choose LBS. I think going back for fills & check ups is the best thing you can do for yourself and being here for additional knowledge & support is the icing on the diet cake. You can do this! You know what doesn't work, so it's time to do was does! We're all here for you!

    I Cheated Death!!

Glad you survived! Take it really easy today, you probably irritated your esophagus. Might need protein shakes & mushies a few days. I've always had problems with breast meat on chicken, so I know turkey breast would be bad. Problem is I prefer the breast :*( Take care & have a blessed day!

    Personal Nsv

That's great! Did you need a hernia repair with LBS? I did and evidently I had silent reflux. I never had heartburn, but endo showed years ago damage to esophagus from acid. Since then I take 1 Prilosec daily. Really glad you're not suffering anymore!

My First Fill Is Dec. 20Th

After waiting 6 wks getting my first fill Monday. On my mushie stage I made all kinds of homemade soups & stews, blending and they were good. My fave Taco soup! Ricotta, low fat cheese & spaghetti sauce warm for 30 sec in micro good too. You can do this!

I Wish I Could Say Holy Crap!!!

I have to add Dulcolax powder to a drink about once a week. It's tasteless, dissolves completely& you can add it to any liquid including water. I find it a lot less stimulating than most, just makes you go. Hope everything comes out all right :0)

    Omg That Was Painful

I got this yesterday and I hadn't eaten anything. It was right after I drank some cold Water. I drank room temp water the rest of the day and I had no problem with Prime Rib I had for dinner. I think the water was just too cold, but it hurt for along time. Be interesting what others say!
