    After meeting with my surgeon at a seminar , I then had an appt and they had all my insurance info and what my insurance needed me to do before final approval. They weighed and measured me and discussed how everything works. They had my schedule and I was told step by step what I needed to do.

    Blender def over food processor( too much cleaning up) , but I have a Magic Bullet that is awesome. You can get similar brands at Target really cheap. There small, easy to clean and comes with like 6 different cups, so you're not always washing one.

    destynee, I'm a little worried about you starting this so soon, you were only banded on Oct 22, it's a time for healing, not losing weight. Have you talked with your surgeon about this? Would be interested in his input. I'm going for my 6wk follow up tomorrow and hopefully my first fill. Best wishes!

    Like Mis says, talk with Dr&staff, but continue to educate yourself. My nutritionists said that most ppl only retain 30% of whats being told. You are your best advocate!

    You're in the right place here, plus there's a book Bandwagon written by our very own Jean McMillian, a must read for all. Ask any questions you may have and they'll get answered.     Glad this subject was brought up. After surgery I didn't have the shoulder pain like everyone speaks of. Since going on regular eating I get terrible left shoulder pain and I've used it as a sign to stop eating and shortly after eating it stops. I figured it was a nerve, but wasn't sure if it is a you're full sign.
