Dee, I would do liquids for a few days. You aggravated your stoma. As far as tight, hungry, tight, hungry, I hear you. The only way I can control the hunger is not to have any sugar or bad carbs. Its suppose to be ok, but I found out it starts a feeding frenzy. If I avoid that stuff, I am fine. Anyways thats my two cents worth. Good luck! (((hugs)))

Hospital says 3 days. I will have my tablet, so hopefully stay in contact. I'm scared and excited. I try to think about everything Maddy, you and others have gone through and telling myself I can do this. It does make it easier knowing you all have my back.

Look at my profile picture and you tell me....lol Really it's a piece of diet cake. My daughter and nurse said " you look pretty good for someone who has just come out of surgery". You don't get those terrible gas pains like with the LB. Relax, you'll do great.

My port flipped three months post op. It was discovered at my second fill, first fill was 2cc, with nothing in my band at surgery. Dr told me port flips are pretty rare. I being only his second after hundreds of surgeries. He also stated that it was nothing I did, just a freak thing. He said, "you get more tubing leaks than flips". The revision surgery was very easy and have had no problems since. I'm very happy with everything so far.

Oh, I will definitely remind you..... It will be, calling all prayer warriors, HELP!!!!!

That's the first thing my Dr explained to me. "You won't be getting that Thanksgiving stuffed feeling. Eat too much and it will hurt". He was right.

I was told no soda ever...But you will hear others have gotten the ok. Pre banding I drank nothing but diet Mt Dew, haven't had one since surgery and I am really happy I kicked that addiction. Right away I noticed how much better me skin looks and feels. Try really hard to put good things into your body. Soda offers you nothing.

Terribly sorry you are having these issues. I wish nothing but the best for you. Were you able to lose weight? Good luck!
