Yes, it is normal. Most ppl are constipated but a few of us got diarrhea. I had to take a chewable Imodium only twice to stop it. Be sure to call your surgeon and find out what they would like you to do. They might want to make sure you don't have a bacterial infection, or maybe put you on pro-biotic. Good Luck !

Giving myself some credit
Maddysgram replied to titansjim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm right there with you Titan. I too have 1 fill 3cc, no restriction yet. My Dr came right out and told me it was all me and he also promised that the band you kick in soon to help me. So yes, you deserve A LOT of credit! You're following the rules and winning. Wishing continued success! -
Patty, this looks and sounds wonderful. Def going to try it. You haven't given us a bad one yet. Love that you include pictures. Looks much better then it sounds.lol Until the last few years spinach always made me go yuck. Mom always made it out of a can,ewwwww.

Put on 0.5kg or 1.1 pounds :(
Maddysgram replied to Giovy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Missy is absolutely correct. If your soup had some sodium in it, could make you have fluid retention. Like Missy said, follow your Drs orders and maybe stay off the scale until you are done healing. Good Luck on your journey! -
5 days post op... Having some trouble
Maddysgram replied to daniwagner's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's not gross, it's part of the process. I had the opposite problem and had to take Imodium.lol Most Dr advice a stool softener, not a laxative. Some ppl even have luck with prune juice. You don't want to strain really hard or you'll end up with hemorrhoids. I do advice you to call your surgeon and see what they recommend. Good luck -

When I lost my first 20lbs before surgery I thought the same thing and then remember, oh yea, I have done it time and time again, never reaching goal and gaining it all back and then some. The difference this time is I have the tools ( band & knowledge) to reach goal and keep it off.

Anyone try not weighing themselves?
Maddysgram replied to willowcat's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I weigh in every morning first thing, feed the cats & get weighed.lol I don't let the numbers bother me one way or the other. I'm like the rest of the daily weighers, every time I didn't weigh, I had gained a lot of weight. I guess it is a head game and maybe I'll get over it or maybe not. -
Oh no, what are we doing to the ozone layer?! Terry if you come up with a capturing method let us know, I'll make an investment. lmao
