That's good to know. My surgery will be soon and I was afraid of the walking A LOT part. I'm waiting also for knee replacement. I know how important it is to walk. When I had my hysterectomy yrs ago, I was outside walking in the middle of the night b/c gas was so bad. I have an exercise bike & rocking chair I 'll try it. I'll also try walking as much as possible. It's hell getting old!

All Drs are different. Some do & some do 't. I was lucky , my Dr. Just put me on a 1200cal diet & told me to lose 5lbs.

Thank you cindroo! I'm really hoping and praying she'll make this concert. She's a sweet girl that smile's every waking moment. When you think your having a bad day all you have to do is see her smile.

Not to much. I have made arrangements to take my granddaughter to Georgia (6hr drive) to see her favorite band on Oct.5. She has Cerebral Palsy and we had taken her to a concert in May and while there she was having a terrible time and was rushed to hospital where she spent most of May having numerous surgeries. So having her go to the concert is much more important to me than having my surgery. BTW, her favorite band is The Fresh Beat Band. She was born 1 lb 2 oz and today is her 12th birthday and that is her present.
