Carole, I am feeling much better. Had a really goodnights sleep last night, yeah. I will post pictures of my finished quilt, when I finish it.lol Every time I think I'll sit down to work on it, someone calls me away. Today is the day!!!! I could send pictures of all the fabric I have collected, for future projects. I have 4 things planned, bought and waiting. Maddy's lap quilt, all cut and planned, just needs sewing. Another baby blanket, fabric bought and just thought of pattern this AM. A beautiful red, black and white fabrics I like and Ange & Evans quilt that I just ordered. Not to mention all the fabrics I have purchase and have no idea what for.lol Maybe something for my ctwins... Ange is in total bliss. She loves her new home. She is feeling well and all this makes momma feel really good too. Thank all of you who have asked about her! I forgot to share what my son in law said about me , last weekend. He said to Ange " this might sound strange, but I miss your mom". How sweet is that! Carole, I know your time with Seth will be tough and my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Us moms understand, men don't get it. I'm so excited seeing pictures of your hgtv kitchen episode. Its like waiting for a season premier.

I am so sorry, Dee! Just sent you a pm.

Good morning ladies. Happy Friday! What's everyone's Father's Day plans? I will be thanking my heavenly Father first, for all He has done for rotten ole me and blessing me with such wonderful friends here. Then will have fond memories of my dad, who loved me more than any other man could. Then I will fix my hub and extra good breakfast and wait on him hand and foot all day, even though he is not my father, lol which sometimes I have to remind him " you ain't my daddy, don't tell me what to do". See, I am not always a peace maker, sometimes a little of a trouble maker.

I pray they do too... So happy to hear about Sushi. If dogs are like ppl, they can live for quite awhile on medication. I always heard that milk products are not good for acid. Will have to google that.

1 Yr Bandiversary today!!!!
Maddysgram replied to donna12's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Happy Bandiversary, Donna! -
First 6weeks are for healing, not weight loss. Like kaz said "as long as you're following the drs rules", you'll be fine.

Thanks to Miss Dee, I went to Victory Secret for a bra sizing. Never done that before. I've been wearing the wrong size bra my whole life. I always wore a D cup and I got a 38DD.Most of it was still bending over and having my side flab fall into cup. Got underwire, which I have never been comfortable in, but I can't tell with my new ones. All in all, I'm very happy. Thanks Dee for going first!

Thanks Terri, for the heads up on the website. I'm such an idiot, I'm looking around for my tablet to look it up, as I'm reading your thread on my tablet.

What they said... Congrats and welcome to the banded side. I was told 1oz every 15min.
-
woohoo! Congrats!

I hope Sushi continues to improve. Poor animals age just like us humans. Arthritis, diabetes, heart disease etc... I wonder if animals get dementia and if not, why??? Carole, is there some kind of evening medication maybe causing reflux, since being banded? Milk product? Since banding, fruit punch gatorade affects me, other flavors no, just fruit punch. Go figure!
-
Terri, I was wrong, the backing doesn't come with the quilt, gotta read the small print. Can't believe how cheap their fabric is. You've ordered from them before, so you know the quality?
-
I also do the hot tea before eating.
-
I started out "morbidly Obese" and now just a few ticks away from being "overweight". Love my band too! You're doing a great job, congratulations!

New member. Still trying to get clearance... sigh.

Welcome to the forum! You have found the best support group here. Stick around and you'll learn everything you need to know and then some.lol You'll find a lot of inspiration here too. I hardly think you are the largest person to join LBT, but size doesn't matter anyways. We even have a few that have MS, so you're not alone. Sorry you have to go through so much testing, but it just goes to show, you must have a great surgeon. Someone thats not taking any chances with your life. That has to be comforting. I had to do a 6mth supervised diet, before ins. would approve my surgery. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Gave me the time I needed to get the education to succeed and I got it all right here. Any questions, just ask. Best wishes on your journey. -
Kathy goes under the knife!

I never thought of that.... poor men have no choice. They'd look weird in a sundress. But naked in flip flops would be weird too.j/s -
Ok, I'll stop rambling here. I'll go see if I can save some poor bandster. Everyone have a good Thursday! Don't forget Dawn, the chocolate has all kinds of critters in them.Best to take your own Snacks.

That is nice! Hey Dawn, Just notice your ctwin has a nice bicycle ticker, thats what you need. Are you guys just trying to confuse me?

I always considered using resistance bands, but not so much anymore. I can just see the Lawyer commercials on tv, "if you be seriously hurt, while working out with resistance bands, call 1-800-sue-now. We maybe able to get you compensation". I think I watch too much tv!? Speaking of which, I think I want a sister wife. I need help taking care of things around here.lol

I've slept a lot better tonight. No hot, cold, hot, cold, just slept so good my body thinks its been sleeping for hours. Went to sleep around 11, woke up at 1 and went right back to sleep, then woke again at 3.Might be able to fall back to sleep at 5ish.But happy its been a good sleep. Carole, sorry to hear your lack of rest is due to reflux. I can't wait until you see your new Dr. I'm definitely praying they can help you. Do you take Prilosec, Nexium or something like those, daily? I've been on Prilosec for years. I use to take it twice a day, but now I just take it once daily. I have an rx for it, which makes it very cheap.

You almost had me ready to try this. Can't afford to knock myself out though. You poor thing, that really had to hurt. Are you going to try it again? About the mosquitos, to wet and nasty to see if it works. I stepped outside for 2 seconds, saw a flash of lightening and came back in. You don't mess around with lightening in FL.lol

food wraps are good too, lol
-
Smaller bites, chew like crazy and eat super slow. Stick with foods you know you can handle. Moist Proteins.

Yep, the whole package.
