She was born 1lb 2oz, 12 yrs ago. Has always had that huge smile. We know when she's not feeling well, her smiler is broken. So today after 3hrs. of surgery and now laughing until she snorts is a true miracle.

Her momma said she was laughing so hard she was snorting.LOL

I just got one of those mixer cups that has a metal mixer ball. Told they work great for mixing shakes. Bought it at Walmart. Also sometimes I just munch on some low fat cheese and it keeps me full.

You're going to lose a few more lbs jumping up & down like that!!! Great job! -
OT- Just wanted the nurses to know I appreciate your hard work and dedication. Almost every nurse I know doesn't get the adequate breaks to even go to the bathroom. I once had to answer phone in NICU, b/c nurse had 6 babies to take care of while others were either on break or taking a baby for test. My granddaughter is in the hospital a lot, just had surgery today, and you nurses are not only wonderful to patient, but the family too. Well done!!!! Wish I could help you with eating problems!

Pre-Op Weight Loss
Maddysgram replied to Harrier's Woman's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't have to do protein shake diet, but I have them occasionally to prepare for post-op. They're great for quick grab & go breakfast. -
I'm proud of you too! Great job! I know a lady who lost 100 lbs with no fill, after the 100 she finally did. Hoping I'll be like you. Not excited about trying to find green zone.

Pre-Op Weight Loss
Maddysgram replied to Harrier's Woman's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a problem that my nutritionist didn't want me to lose a lot of weight & PCP did. I drew a line down the middle and lost 24lbs in the 6mths. Once my insurance was approved I switched to some LB rules like protein first, small bites, putting my fork down for one minute between bites, smaller portions, chew 30 times and have lost a total 34lbs and surgery is still 15days away. I hope adjusting to band life will be easier! Best to you on your journey!
