In my case, I was going to die if I didn't have the surgery. My PCP agreed that the chances of dying from obesity far out weighed the risk of surgery. You'll be fine. Nerves before surgery is normal. I'm 3wks out today ans already feel so much better about myself. The band is hard work, so be prepared. Don't forget Chapstick tomorrow!

Good luck to you both! The pain is not that bad, it's more discomfort. Plus you'll get pain meds. Take Chapstick with you. It will all be over before you know it and you'll be on your way to a healthier life. -

Call your Dr and ask about Imodium. one chewable tablets all you'll need. You buy it OTC. -

Yes, it's normal. You either have constipation or diarrhea. I had to take one Imodium to stop it. When you don't know if its gas or something else, that can be dangerous.lol -
