I am having trouble replying to posts. It says its timed out so I cancel, then this morning when I've looked my last two replies are there. Anyone else had this trouble? Any suggestions? As an update, I am now at my docs goal of 70kgs 15 months after surgery and down a total of 37kgs. My goal is 68kg so not too far to go, but these last few are so hard. I am not as strict now with my treats so my weight has stabilised. I am starting my new job as Director of Sales at Marriott Gold Coast next Monday. It will involve a lot of travelling and entertaining, so I will have to be extra careful. If anyone is visiting the Coast I would love to meet up with you. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Lissa, are seriously going to dress up as a zombie???? I heard about that fun run this year from someone else on this thread. Good on you for doing something different.

Hi Misty, that's good news. It is a pretty easy non invasive surgery these days, so all the best fir a quick and easy recovery.

I do get hunger but it takes very little to satisfy it, whereas in the past I would have eaten more. Sometimes it is difficult to determine if it's real hunger or head hunger.

Congratulations. I've been wondering how you were getting on. Enjoy your break and at least it's warm weather that makes you want to drink.

Good to hear you are on the road to recovery. I am sure the doctor and nurses have advised you to try and avoid vomiting if at all possible during this early period as you don't want to dislodge staples. I had a drain in for 3 days and am glad I did as I thunk my recovery was a lot better afterwards without all of that fluid in my stomach. i don't know why more doctors don't do it. Take it easy and enjoy the ride down.

Kaz. Mine all happened fairly quickly once I made up my mind and I am so glad the waiting time did not drag on. For me it was the sooner the better and I am so glad I had this surgery.

Sorry Sue & Lissa, I won't be coming to Sydney now in November. I was stopping off on my way to Melbourne and that trip has been cancelled. Sue I will be traveling to Sydney regularly next year with my new job so look forward to meeting you early in the new year. I know you will both enjoy your catch up.

I had it the day I got home after 3 days on clear fluids in hospital. No problem at all.
