My story started in 2003 when I had the lab band. I have always had a problem with being over weight. In 2003 I was weighing 227 and I had type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. At the time the band ws new my doc at first did not want to fo it he said I was not fat enough. At 5'6 &227 how much more did I have to be? I only got down to 170 and my health issues did not go away in fact they increasd my diabetes meds. In 2012 I had the band removed Gerd, and reflux, he had plicated my stomach which made matters worse. So here I am at 49 and trying hard to get healthy. I have the man of my dreams a wonderful daughter who got married last year . We all ride motorcycle, and I want to be the hot chic on my bike. This going to a big change for me you would think that since I am a nurse(RN) I would not be scared, lol .. I will keep you up to date.
