Is it ok to take Ambien a week after surgery?
gloriann replied to nck12nicholspd's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I take Ambien and everything is fine. I make sure to take it 10-15 minutes before bed. If you're still unsure, call and ask your dr. Get some sleep. Good luck! -

STARVING on Preop diet, day 3
gloriann replied to MsKinthedesert's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I had to do the full liquid diet a week before surgery. It was hard but I knew I had to do it. After the third day, things were better. Buy some SF popsicles, jello, and different broths. I don't think you screwed up! At least you ate the three celery sticks and hummus instead of the bag of Cheetos and Oreos. Good for you. Just follow the diet by your dr and you'll be fine. Good luck! Keep us posted. -
Good luck on getting your approval. Be patient hun, i"m sending hugs ((())) your way. Keep us posted.

gloriann replied to keldolbeth's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can't confirm the feeling/pain your having is due to gallstones. I had my gallbladder removed years before my sleeve surgery. I hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted. -

1. How long was your pre-op diet? 1 week 2. How were you getting your calories? Wasn't given a guideline on how many calories to take in. 3. How much weight did you lose? I lost 9 lbs in one week. -
Welcome!!! Good luck on your journey. Before you know it you will be post-op. Keep us posted.

Freezing all the time
gloriann replied to Alabamasleever's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I do...I always have a sweater on and a blanket next to me at work if needed. Small inconvenience to go through post-op. Still loving my sleeve. Maybe we'll warm up a little down the road! Good luck! -

You are not alone. I too struggled with my weight and getting to the point where I felt like--oh well! Take it one day at a time. Get up and walk around the block or even around the dining room table. Anything to get moving. I wish you luck on your sleeve journey. Please keep us posted.
