Congrats FXD!! Take it slow and easy for a few days and concentrate on getting the fluids and protein in! Wishing you a speedy recovery!!

Yes I did not get even that much fluid in the first few days. All I can say is just keep sipping. As you heal you will get more in. Good luck in your journey

ibehere10 replied to fallingwhisper's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I did not have anyone stay. People visited me and where there when I woke up but I told them to go as I knew I needed to sleep off the anesthesia and didn't want them to stay and watch me sleep lol!! -
Congrats to all of you! I am 4 months out and have not felt this great since I was in my 20s!!! Worth every pia protein shake lol!! Best wishes and I will include you all in my prayers for a speedy recovery!!

Call your doc, you really shouldn't be throwing up like that. You need nutrition to heal and get into a better state. I am sorry you lost your friend, sad. -

I am with @notime! I wouldn't ask for his help anymore. You do not need this extra stress in your life, you need support and caring people around you. -
I am Almost 4 months out and now use a scale to measure solids. I never asked my nut about this though so I might have to give her a call....

Sorry you have to go through this but I am sure you have researched this and believe it is the best thing for you to do. I had considered the band but my doc said he was no longer doing the band due the number of bands he had to remove from corrosion issues and that the band was not as successful with the amount of weight lost. I am glad I went with the sleeve as I have had no issues, am losing as I am suppose to and feel 20 years younger!! I wish you thievery best and know that you have a lot of support on here!! Do you use my fitness pal app? If so you can add me as a friend if you like, name is the same as on here. Keep us posted -
