Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call

Art song, geez I am not sure what to say. Could it be you are eating to many carbs? Maybe you can put a call in to your nut and have him/her review what you are eating so they can help you figure this out? I am hopeful the scale starts to move for you soon. Hang in
  2. Best wishes to all!! Keep us posted
  3. Yes things change! I have not really felt hunger since surgery. My sleeve lets me know I am over due for for food by triggering slight nausea! If I don't give it some food the nausea gets stronger and stronger . I try to eat every every three hours and I make sure I have protein right before bed or I wake up during the night nauseous !! I am 5 months out.

Will the sleeve really help me?

Hi Sweetie, the sleeve has certainly provided me with great restriction! I am 5 months out today and still can only eat about 3 to 4 ounces of food. I stuck pretty much to eating protein for mist meals and snacks and have lost about 63 lbs so far! Good luck

Did your measurements change? I feel like I am a slow loser to but am thrilled with the loss and the inches that have changed too!! Stick with the plan!!!
  7. Will be at 5 months tomorrow and have gone from243 start weight to 180 as of this morning and am thrilled. Last April I was 250, had trouble walking for any length of time and got winded going up one flight if stairs . I am now doing 2 miles in the treadmill in 40 minutes and do not get out if breath at all.

As NGM said, don't let the haters get to you. I feel bad that your daughters friend has a mom who is like that though. Poor kid must feel humiliated by his mothers bs! I am grateful that I have not had any negative reactions to my weight loss ( at least not to my face, lol)!!!! You ate doing a great job and what a great gift you are giving your daughters, a healthy fun loving Mom!!
