3 weeks out doctor has me on soft foods, what is the feeling im looking for knowing when I ate enough should I just eat 4 ounces and thats it? I went to Panera Bread today and got a 1/2 of some kind of chicken salad with fruit in the salad it was good. I ate the chicken (protein first) then I picked at the strawberries and tangerines didnt want to try the pineapple but ate a leaf of lettuce I never felt full but stopped eating anyway. Dinner I just ate some refried beans with greek yogurt mixed in and the scrapings from the mashed potato pot in all around 6 or 7 ounces. I feel a slight lump in my throat and I think I feel full.

if its the tea sure its just tea no Chai Latte though all that sugar

oh cool ya I had the tiny burp thats when I quit eating the salad too well it was like multiple tiny burps in little increments lol

guess this is a scale victory but yesterday morning I am no longer MORBIDLY obese im just obese lol

8/31 sleever here and havent lost any weight in 4 days really sucks I am down 58 lbs from the start of my journey in June though.

same had a small stall last 3 days then a couple lbs dropped off last night keep your head up it will happen

Well I didnt think I did "too much" today but now I have clear liquid coming out of the biggest one of my incisions with a smidge of blood it has subsided but had me worried its a little tender there still. There is no puss oooze or foul smell so I dunno if its a big deal left doctors office a msg talked to a nurse who said monitor it till tomorrow but it has me worried.

small goals 2 sizes smaller then what you are now? so you have many happy moments

gets easier after day 3

there is a small maybe sharp pain there but not really anything prior to the leakage

Thanks for this Topic JSoc lol I was about to make the same thread about eating too much and not feeling my sleeve. Glad Enigma cleared up the nerve damage and feeling coming back in a few weeks.

ya 8 days post op for me too and same thing cant get all that protein in. I am on the puree stage now though and doctor said that should help

Yup just got a call from Hospital they cancelled my sleeve for tomorrow because..... my primary insurance (mine from my job) only covers emergency hospitalization, my wifes insurance covers everything and is what my WHOLE family use for doctors and anything else that goes wrong. Well my primary denied of course because I only have emergency hosp but my wifes insurance approved the sleeve. Now the day b4 surgery someone in the hospital called my primary to "double check" authorization which was of course denied and now im in phone tag trying to get this resolved and we are now out of time. So off work for 2 weeks screwed out of and the next surgery date is Sept 21st I cant do it for one wait that long after this horrible 3 week liquid diet and try and get off another 2 weeks unpaid next month... Im just giving up... no way I can make it to next month and line up my ducks again.

its all personal where your body stored its fat look in the mirror see what parts are really stretched out and that is where you will have excess skin. Me I hold it in the front of my belly the kind that hung down to my zipper I know when I lose my goal I will have skin there. women usually have the Jello arms too from what I read on here the tricep area.

I know isajck I argued for 30 mins myself about that fact. I almost started crying in front of my kids =/ Grown man crying about this in front of his kids isnt cool lol

well after 4 hours its back on the ladies at the dr's office are awesome one was on phone with primary one on phone with secondary, secondary says hey we already approved it whats the hold up so after this boss and that boss its back on ..... I was in cold sweats and everything was going in and out purple i was sooo aggravated.

I got cancelled for tomorrow......... take me off the august sleevers refer to my other post for details .. okay back on for tomorrow what a terrible 4 hour ordeal my blood pressure should have killed me, I was actually starting to see purple and get cold sweats.
