that is a REALLY good way to put it! i will totally think about that next time anything is said. but still just being my age and haveing friends that are my age (living where i live) i would get rude comments just because fashion and looks mean alot to ppl here so o well. im happy with who i am and the choices i have made. but i REALLY like those ideas. thank you!

Normal Eating ever Again????
Amyintw replied to Angelhope82's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well, im only about 2 weeks post op, and i was scared for the same reason. from what i've been told, yes you can eat normally. there will be some things that your stomach MIGHT not be able to handle but pretty much you can have whatever. they say you really cant have like the normal candy....if you HAVE to have some they say get sugar free...for the obvious reasons. and the ppl i've talked to say that they can eat steak but they get the really tender stuff because you have to chew really really well. but other then that its really not a bad deal considering what your gonna LOOSE!!!! and good luck!!!!! -
Hi, I am getting banded on monday the 12th. I'm super excited but really nervous because i've never had a real surgery(thank gosh its not very invasive). Im hoping to lose 40 to 50 lbs. by graduation which is at the end of may. So enough about me how did you do with the liguid diet? its only for a few days so it should be easy. but the mashed foods is gonna get tricky! I would love to keep in touch with you so i can know how well ppl are doing! and CONGRATS on your new self!!!!
