When Could You Sleep On Your Stomach?
Miqq07 replied to newskinnygal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You will get there, it was probably I this month before I could sleep on my stomach again. I am a stomach sleeper so it sucked and my back always hurt. You will get there, even getting to sleep on your side will feel much better -
I am 5'4" and could not fit into a 24 size jeans before surgery. I have no idea what size a wore and still don't. I wore leggings nearly everyday to work and sweats the second I got home. I can fit into my fifteens now. I weighed 235 pre op and my stomach was huge! People assumed I was pregnant all the time, man that hurt so bad every time. I am so grateful for my lapband I am down to 206 so far, was banded April 28 th

Be sure to sip on liquids all day, every few minutes. I for not drink enough even though I thought I was and became very dehydrated and sick. I thought for sure something was really wrong as I was weak and could hardly get out of bed but turned out I just needed some sugar in my blood and a lot of water.

I have a 4cc band. My first fill was one cc then yesterday I went up to 3 cc which appeared to be a perfect fill according to the xray and my doctor but I spent all night and morning choking on even water. This morning I had 1 cc taken out but still choked all day. Turns out my stomach swells up real easily after a fill so its been warm coffee and popsicles all day. The sweeping is now going down to wear I can take a small drink of water. I will have to go back up to 3cc very slowly, everyone is different. My first fill I didn't even notice a difference.

I went in for a flourafill today, what should have taken five minutes took over thirty only because I have turned into such a simp and almost passed out three times. I was able to drink a bit of a smoothie tonight but then started to "choke" on it. Just now I took a swallow of water and it is still coming back up after about ten minutes. Is my fill too tight or maybe just swollen? All I know is I can't choke like this over a sip of water, ill die of dehydration lol.

Got nearly a full cc taken out this morning and still choked on water all day but I think the swelling is now going down thank heaven. Thanks for the help.

Also my doctor here in the states has met him and he has an excellent reputation. The office I go to sees about 100 of his patients. I have three personal friends all banded by him before me who all loved him as well. They were amazing and the band cost was $5500 total. -
Who Are The Best Lap Band Surgeons In Mexico ? Decisions Decisions!

I was banded in Mexico by doctor Pedro Kuri and if I had the chance to do it all over again here in Utah or there I would go there in a heartbeat. We were treated like royalty and Dr Kuri is truly an angel. -
I was banded on April 28th and although the recovery was not very pleasant I would not take it back for anything! I love my Lapbanf. It's been a great tool so far. My weight loss has slowed down, I have been at a loss of 28 pounds for about 3 weeks now but I went in for a fill today and know the weight will start to come off again. Losing the weight is much easier with this tool to help
