You can also find it in low carb grocery stores(I got it at mine) and probably some health food stores without having to order online. It certainly is a wonderful product!!

A Lighter Me... Tijuana
Threetimesacharm replied to AmandaRaeLeo's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Yes they live in Mexico and they work for the company that coordinates your surgery. So not really working for the surgeons but can recommend different surgeons and prices. -
Afraid To Eat :)
Threetimesacharm replied to ArtSong's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Cottage cheese is a great way to start. If you are on pureed foods make sure you puree them in a mini food processor. Chewing is not the same and you run the risk of having a larger chunk go down. Please puree your food. You can also add many foods with your cottage cheese and it is a great source of protein. -
I Have f**king Had It!
Threetimesacharm replied to sexy_sleevegirl's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Wow why are you yelling at us? Like shewolf asks did you not do your research before you had the surgery. Regardless, THERE IS NO TRUNING BACK NOW!! You need to get a grip and take full advantage of this time to lose weight. It may not be an easy road, which I sense it is not for you, but you have no choice at this point. I agree you need a support group or your surgeon to get you on the right track. Your eating life will NEVER be the same, so mourn its' loss but MOVE ON! -
My Suggestion-Stop The Obsessing. Rules Are Meant To Be Broken
Threetimesacharm replied to NJSleeveboy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Very long post. Thank you for sharing your opinion. You are only two weeks out. I am sure those who have had the sleeve a year or more will have lots to say............................You didn't tell us how much you have lost? -
Wow, I have no desire for sweets at all. As a matter of fact not even food. If I could take a pill for my protein that would be great.

How Long Are You On Protein Shakes?
Threetimesacharm replied to ashley624's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
In my opinion it can be a long time. I know some have posted that once losing their weight still use shakes: they are convenient, good for you and an easy way to get in lots of protein and vitamins. Find one you like in different flavours and enjoy! -
there is another thread on here posted most recently that talks about cottage cheese. It has lots of ideas.

Down 72 Pounds In 4.5 Months :)
Threetimesacharm replied to Lisa's Hope's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Oh my God, you look amazing! Focus on how far you have come and how well you have done. If you think to yourself, I would be happy at this weight not losing another pound, as in loving yourself now I think it would take the pressure off and just keep doing what you are doing and it will happen!! You are an inspiration to us all!! -
Realistic Monthly Goals For The First 6 Months
Threetimesacharm replied to Ready4success's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree too that in the first few months, when you see a greater weight loss then set your goal high!! For the next four weeks I have set my goal to lose 20 pounds, I am 3 weeks out. -

Eat To Fast
Threetimesacharm replied to SleeveShelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I am going to brag a little but because I am a revision(band to sleeve) this is really easy for me. I had to do it with the band and the longer you do it it becomes second nature. Yes your food gets cold, sometimes you have to re-heat, it is what it is! -
Cheating Already >:(
Threetimesacharm replied to billyvmom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Billyvmom I kind of don't understand? You have been sleeved but you binged on chinese food? How is this possible I can barely eat 2-4 oz at a time and then am full for hours. Stay away from that garbage, eat protein, journal your food, get out of the house: go for a walk. Have things ready to do instead of eat, I know you have heard it before but it works!! -

How Long Does It Take U To Eat?
Threetimesacharm replied to gettinMeBack's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can only have half a cup at a time too depending on what it is. My biggest worry though is being able to get all of my protein in. How are you able to maintain this are you still having one shake a day? -
If You Need A Diet To Follow Post-Op
Threetimesacharm replied to MDM0927's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Thanks it is very basic, I had my surgery in Mexico and received tons of info. It is also missing the pureed stage this helps to ease us back into foods in general. -
75Lbs Gone In 4.5 Months... 241 To 166!
Threetimesacharm replied to sarahcc's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
As many others have said congratulations! I think that exercise is good for toning and your heart but unless you run triathalons it doesn't have a big effect on weight loss. I have read so many posts too of people eating low fat, this and that. Why would we have to be so concerned when we are eating such small quantities, we need fat in our diets. I think we need to relax with our food, eat our protein first and watch our carb intake. You have done amazing and I wish you a speedy road to your goal!! -
Is Something Wrong?
Threetimesacharm replied to ArtSong's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sounds fantastic. I just started some pureed cottage cheese today and you are right takes a long time to eat and you feel full for very long. I am still going to do a Protein shake everyday to make sure that I am getting at least 60 grams. -
Is Something Wrong?
Threetimesacharm replied to ArtSong's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't worry I was the same way. I still don't do pudding and I never liked the consistency of the jello. I think that it is good to have restriction, part of it is your tummy is swollen and recovering from surgery. Everyday it gets better. -
Does Anyone Juice Now That They Are Post Op/
Threetimesacharm replied to lowe1961's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would like to start juicing too as it will be a good way to get in our veggies. Be careful of fruit juices though as they are very high in sugar. You have reminded me I need to get out my juicer!! -
Bananas In Protein Shake?
Threetimesacharm replied to ready2bskinny's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Why then are you putting in bananas if you don't like them? -
Is Something Wrong?
Threetimesacharm replied to ArtSong's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow I am 20 days out and still don't get in 64oz and am full often to get in my two shakes. I know everyone is different but don't you feel any restriction or tighness when you consume your liquids? -
Finally Frustrates Enough To Post About It
Threetimesacharm replied to Justine13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think the jury is still out on weighing everyday. Many that are at, or are near goal say that it keeps them on track so that if the do go up a few they can get it under control right away. Do what makes you feel good, the weight will come off just stay the course.
