No don't eat everything. You have spent your whole life eating everything, that is why you are here. Have a FUNERAL by just saying goodbye and good ridance; you don't have to eat it.

Threetimesacharm replied to FatGirlSlim's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Congratulations great work! Make sure you send your pics to Dr. Garcia as I am sure he would like to see them. -
Has Anyone Considered Lipozene Before Getting Sleeved.
Threetimesacharm replied to Maria2817's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I don't think that you can compare a weight loss pill to a weight loss surgery; they are in two very different categories. -
What Is This Pain In My Shoulder/neck?
Threetimesacharm replied to Curvy Girl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I am a revision, september 10th, and I had this pain in my left shoulder/neck on and off for the 5 years with the band. I thought that it would go away with the sleeve but it hasn't. I don't know if it is a sign of fullness as I don't get it all the time. This may sound strange but I remember hearing somewhere that there is a nerve that runs that is associated with the stomach. I don't know, maybe I dreamt this but if so it could make sense in my case as I have had it with both surgeries; if the nerve is pinched it would stay that way. -
Feels Like Air Is Trapped When I Eat
Threetimesacharm replied to Nick'sMom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You might be swallowing air when you eat. Take very small bites and chew even your pureed. Wait before each spoon of food. -
Sleeved Wednesday, 10/3/12....
Threetimesacharm replied to UTGal99's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congratulations you did it!! My leak test was great, I had three but the one where you had to drink the liquid for the floroscope looked like water and had no taste. I actually had three leaks tests, to the poster who said that they were lucky NOT to have one: I am VERY lucky to have had all of mine, so preventative and good care my my DOC. -
Dry Heaves
Threetimesacharm replied to DeadPlasmaCell's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Please don't have the ice cream, very bad idea. Try different liquids my first 8 days I had diluted, unsweetened apple juice and it was delicious, I felt it really settled my stomach as it wasn't just plain water. This was Dr recommended on my diet plan. -

Bariware - Portable Portion Control For Us!
Threetimesacharm replied to delta_girl's topic in Food and Nutrition
I was just on eggface website and she uses what is called a "Bento box". So it is the similar design with small containers and does not say bariware. I just googled for a supplier in my area. My supplier has different colours, carrying cases and cutlery. I think it is a great option!! -
What Would Happen If I Cheated?
Threetimesacharm replied to SkinnyOnMe's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Your NUT is not your surgeon. Please confirm with your Doc your staples are NOT inside your stomach......I agree with other poster. Maybe you can watch the surgery on youtube to get an idea how it is performed. -
Five Months Out And Starving
Threetimesacharm replied to kmbrlycool's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am not at your stage yet but they say we should be able to eat approximately one cup of food. If this is the case for you try having a really good veggie(3oz) with your chicken say broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus. This may help you to feel full longer because veggies have Fiber. -
I had my revision on September 10th and agree with all of the posts. I didn't have complications yet(had my band for 5 years) but it certainly was not all it was cracked up to be. I feel so much better without it, already I notice a difference especially with being able to drink cold fluids. It is a life changing surgery but if you are ready for the committment I say go for it!

Got My Date 11/05/12 Going From Band To Sleeve..
Threetimesacharm replied to soocalchic's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was exactly like you, posting on lapbandtalk, ventured to this site and the rest is history. Had my revision about 5 weeks after initially finding this site. I can tell you it is the best thing that I could have done. Well wishes to you and your surgery -
Im Not The Dr.messenger!
Threetimesacharm replied to ThinnerTiff's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
WOOHOO you go girl, you will do great!! -
Oh I feel your pain. Like rootman I don't believe depending on the severity that you will be able to shrink up that skin. If it is really loose then surgery is your option. I know for me that will be the only answer. Exercise certainly won't hurt and may make you feel better about it.

Oh Carol I absolutely love your post. I am 100% on board with what you do, I believe it is the only way. The horrors of what I saw days right after by other post opers: eating a thick tomato soup, eating a creamy chunky strawberry icecreamsicle, buying a bag full of chocolate bars by one other post sleever. I say if you are doing the surgery, commit to it 100% and you will sure not fail. One comment to make I am self pay and maybe that is also part of the motivation, for me anyway.

Day 4 Post Op
Threetimesacharm replied to IsaacsGram's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes I don't know either. It does get better day by day. Don't rush it I think it is good to go slow and let your tummy heal. I am 24 days post op and am on purees and still need shakes to get all of my protein in. I am very happy to go at this pace, hoping it will help with the weight loss. You are doing fine, just keep at it.........................sip, sip, sip BTW all of a sudden for me when I drank I noticed I didn't have to sip anymore, felt like it happened over night! -

Threetimesacharm replied to ready2bskinny's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery

Cruise Food
Threetimesacharm replied to chellewill16's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well there will be a gazillion choices I'm sure! If you asked them for something specific say soft cottage cheese at dinner I am sure they would ablige. Don't worry about the food selection, fish could be a good go to food just chew the heck out of it. Have a fabulous time. -
Quick Question Any Of You Revision Folks Have Any Issues With The Port Site Post Op?
Threetimesacharm replied to soocalchic's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Well if you are talking about the larger incision then yes I have. This incision got an infection, took antibiotics for 2 weeks and it is healing nicely. -
Dr. Garcia Post Op Diet...are You Following It?
Threetimesacharm replied to hollirrose's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Yes I am following the weeks, I will probably be on puree for at least two, but I am not following the food selections per se. I am not doing any of the carbs, I wouldn't have room for my protein which I am only eating. No veggies either, I am sure as time goes on I will also be able to get in some veggies. -
14 Days Out. Am I Eating And Drinking Too Much?
Threetimesacharm replied to Socketpinch's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My only thought is are you getting in enough protein each day. This is the most important to keep your body functioning well. -
When Does Hunger Come Back?
Threetimesacharm replied to TamaraS's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 23 days post-op. I too have no hunger for food but get very weak almost dizzy if I don't eat so I know that about every three hours I have my mini meal. I have no desire for food either, I am looking at it for fuel for my body! How great is that. -
Bariware - Portable Portion Control For Us!
Threetimesacharm replied to delta_girl's topic in Food and Nutrition
Is anyone in Michigan that I can ship my bariware too? I am across the border and they don't ship to Canada. -
I would google it that is how I found mine. They carry all sorts of low carb foods that anyone following a low carb lifestyle would eat.
