How do you know that you are not ovulating?
-
If you don't want that food than don't eat it. Wait till you get to pureed: fish, canned meats, cottage cheese, yogurt. I say eat what you like.

Head Games!
Threetimesacharm replied to suzthebrit's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Isn't it great!! -
Well it is all relative. It depends on how much you have to lose in total. I don't think that it can ever be too fast!! When you stall you won't be thinking that. Great job on your weight loss!!

Post Op Portion Control?
Threetimesacharm replied to Strangefruit's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I agree, eat really slow put down your fork and feel what your body is telling you. You will feel your fullness in your upper chest say at your breast bone. Stay aware of this feeling and listen to your body. -
Not At Goal (20Lbs Away)...plastics?

What would happen? You'd have larger breasts. -
A little about me: lapband 2007 and really had no issues but couldn't eat alot of healthy foods, meats, some veggies, yogurt, eggs. I did lose weight but resorted to slider foods as easier to eat as you know you get tired of one day could eat chicken the next day you couldn't. Anyway I knew the lapband was not forever, at some point I would have to have it removed and like you did not want to gain weight back. So on LBT I found out about VST in July and the rest is history. I had my revision in Sept 10th and I could not be happier! Because I had learned rules with the lapband it has been an easy road so to speak: eating small bites, small amounts, small plates, no drinking and eating, waiting to drink after meals did all of this for 5 years. I have had no issues, no vomiting, no food intolerances so far. I have lost 43 pounds to date and can't be more thrilled!! Would I do it again, absolutely!!

So I am considering starting to date again and am having a hard time trying to figure out what I would say. I am a very private person initially, till I get to know you. At some point in the dating process you will be going out for a meal and your date will see how little you eat. For people that don't understand, it may be hard for them to grasp the surgery, and may judge me(possibly harshly). Has anyone told someone new that they are dating? What did you say? When did you say it(how long into the relationship)? How did they react? Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Question; Does Some One A Good Diet/calorie Tracker For Pc ?

there is fitness pal, fitday(this one I use). -
Thank you Bawse, how have things been since? I do agree not to lie, maybe I am over analyzing and my dates will be more understanding and not really care.

I think if clothing is sized 9, 11, 13 it is more a junior size and I find that they fit a little smaller. Sizes 10, 12, 14 are more misses or women's sizing and would then be larger. So your size 11's are more like a 10 so if you had a size 12 I bet the would fit perfect!!

Wise words Gamer thank you.

Frustrated! :( Feeling Really Down.. :(
Threetimesacharm replied to msemma's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You don't need to be eating more. The whole point of eating less calories is that your body will use what food you eat as fuel then take the remaining fuel it needs from your fat. I hope that makes sense. -
I Dont Know What Im Doing Wrong?
Threetimesacharm replied to Jessica89's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You have lost 63 pounds in 7 weeks? Fantastic!! Your body will stall, it is adjusting to the massive weight loss. Hang it there it will get moving. I also find if I eat too much say 1000 calories I gain, so don't always listen to what the NUT may say, you know your body the best. -

Anyone Use Dr. Huacuz In Tijuana?
Threetimesacharm replied to midwifeshannon's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
i had my revision with Dr Garcia in Tijuana on September 10th. He is an amazingly skilled surgeon and his price is very reasonable. It is worth to check him out. Google alighterme or ready4achange for a coordinator. -

I had my revision in Mexico on Sept 10th. I did not have any stomach issues with my band but one bout of extreme heartburn. If your stomach is okay now you should have no issues.......good luck -
Question For Veterains And Confession
Threetimesacharm commented on kaykayp's blog entry in kaykayp's Blog
Measuring is good, put your food in a small bowl and use small(baby) utensils. You have to consciously be aware of how you are eating. Deliberately put your fork down between each bite. If you can do something else while eating read, watch TV. Good Luck you can do it! I think in the long term if you will continue to eat fast and when you can handle more food you will then start eating too much. -
You sound fine to me. You just had major surgery, take it easy, sip, sip, sip. Have some diluted unsweetened apple juice, it is delicious and may give you some energy(was diet approved for me).

Lets Talk Coffee
Threetimesacharm replied to PerfectlyImperfect's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Coffee can be a diruetic so I believe this is why they limit it. I drink decaf a couple of times a week. I think if you limit it to once a day, and make sure you get in all of your water, you should be fine. -
