Okay so "sweats" are really no longer fashionable. As another poster said walmart has a line of Danskin workout wear made of a lovely cotton stretch material. So they are not sweat material. You can wear a matching top that they have too, not cotton but a sweat wicking material and very stylish. Have fun!!

Need To Listen To My Tummy
Threetimesacharm replied to SleeveShelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I ALWAYS portion out my food; 2 ounces meat, half cup cottage cheese. That way you really should not be overeating. Don't put more on your plate than you know you can consume. -
So as I have been losing weight I update it on my ticker. I slowly watch as it has been moving down the BMI scale: 33, 32, 31, 30 and now today when I updated it....................................29.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOW OVERWEIGHT!!!!!! I can't tell you the last time I was just overweight. This is a monumentous occassion. I think I deserve a bubble bath!!! Thanks for listening.

All Inclusive Vacation
Threetimesacharm replied to Fiddleman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
As an avid traveller, I agree that you should go. I am sure that you feel great and while on vacation that feeling only increases. Try to stick with your normal eating patterns: because there is such a huge selection you can be choosy about what you eat. Pre sleeve I could go on vacation and lose 5 pounds, just by being choosy, small portions and lots of activity. Go and have a fabulous time!! Will be thinking of you. -

6 Months Post Op....down 110 Pounds !
Threetimesacharm replied to Looking Ahead's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You should be so proud of what you have accomplished, I am! Now as far as having fat goes, it is great that you have more fat than loose skin, this is good as your body is adjusting well. Really check out the ladies section of casual pants, even walmart has some great sport pants(danskin) and yes they have slimmer legs, all the rage these days! Take out some older clothes and try them on you will see how far you have come, woohoo great job keep going!! -

How Much Did Price Affect Your Decision?
Threetimesacharm replied to SerendipityHappens's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Well I chose Dr Fernando Garcia. I believe his price is still $4700.00. He is an amazingly skilled surgeon and has performed over 4000 surgeries. I understand he also trains others for different surgeries. If you research him he is fantastic and you can not go wrong with him. If you need more information please PM me. Good Luck. -

Maybe try the fajitas and eat just the filling stuff slowly. Take the leftovers home if you like. -
All Dr. Garcia's Sleeved Patients, Please Give Your Weightloss Amounts And Timeframes.....thanks!
Threetimesacharm replied to Diamondeyed's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Oh that is interesting I haven't noticed that yet. Maybe it has to do with their diet plan and how strictly they follow it. I don't consume carbs, stick mostly to protein with a little veggie and doing great. -
Do Gummy Vitamins With Iron Exist?
Threetimesacharm replied to kcaaunt's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
no because they would not be able to mask the taste of iron in a gummy. -
Band Removal And Sleeve.
Threetimesacharm replied to rxtine's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes I had the complete revision done on one surgery: removal of band and sleeve performed. My surgeon was absolutely fantastic! I had no real pain, no gas, up walking right after surgery(very important). I am 10.5 weeks and have lost 48 pounds as of two days ago!! Couldn't be happier! -
All Dr. Garcia's Sleeved Patients, Please Give Your Weightloss Amounts And Timeframes.....thanks!
Threetimesacharm replied to Diamondeyed's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
So I don't think it matters who your surgeon is. Sleevers all lose weight at different rates. Are you just curious? Just wondering why you are asking. You could end up being a slow loser or a faster loser, no matter what surgeon. -
Why Am I Eating When I Am Not Hungry?
Threetimesacharm replied to SleeveShelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey Shelly I am 10.5 weeks and found I was doing the same thing eating at night but not hungry. So I stopped having so many snacks, started taking a prevacid type medicine and bingo I am really now not hungry don't want to eat at night. So what I found is that 6 small meals is too much I didn't need it. My weight loss is great and I couldn't be happier. Give it a try. You can do this!! -

I Don't Even Care! : )
Threetimesacharm replied to NerdyMHC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is what the sleeve is all about isn't it? Being able to live and eat in moderation and in our case still lose weight as needed. How wonderful is that!! Great job to you, so in control!! -
No Bra during surgery you need to be butt naked. A good idea for post surgery is a Genie Bra very comfortable and supportive.
