Can Someone Explain the Mashed Potatoes to Me?
Threetimesacharm replied to Mom2IrishTwins's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mashed potatoes are part of your mushy stage as are cream soups. During this phase I did not eat mashed potatoes but I did however eat many creamed soups(I would also add some cheese to them for protein). After the mushy stage I rarely eat creamed soup. -

when is too soon?
Threetimesacharm replied to SummerMarie's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
Well IMO you just had surgery 3 months ago to lose weight. The investment you have now put in should be in the forefront to be a success with this VSG. You should wait from what I hear at least a year. The first 6 months of VSG is the best time to lose as much weight as you can. If you get pregnant now you will hinder your weight loss and then possibly never get to your goal. Is this not what you wanted in the first place? -
True Story "Read with Caution"
Threetimesacharm replied to ascooke's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So very sorry to hear about your sister, on her way now to recovery and a successful weight loss. You are right, you never know what can happen, all surgery is a risk. -
Eeekkk! Dec 13 not far away!
Threetimesacharm replied to Laura Ann Baker's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Who is your surgeon? -
Don't waste your money. It will end up being a very expensive clothes dryer. Start a walking program daily and stick with it. When it is hot you just have to remember to hydrate. You haven't had your surgery yet so when you start to lose you may enjoy walking more.

Is it just me?!? Advise Porfavor :/
Threetimesacharm replied to BeBa091110's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I found actually when I stalled I was eating too much. I eat about 600-700 calories a day. I don't eat carbs I have protein and a little veggie, sometimes yogurt. I think the other poster was saying to have a low cal day and then a higher cal day and see if it jumpstarts your weight loss. Make sure that you are still drinking your water. Congrats on your weightloss by the way, you have done terrific! -
sooooooo whats on the menu for today?
Threetimesacharm replied to newgrandmother's topic in Food and Nutrition
I am going to be 13 weeks on Monday. I can only eat 2 ounces of solid protein per meal. I average 600-700 calories a day. I really wish to make the most of my first 6 months. -
First time really getting sick
Threetimesacharm replied to Carol Watts's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It could very well be the beef. Beef is very hard on our systems and very hard to digest. If the veggies were cooked soft you should not of had a problem. I have yet to have beef(besides ground) and am not sure if I ever will. Just not worth the risk. -
Second major stall...
Threetimesacharm replied to Patrick Curl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Water is definitely your friend, make sure you are drinking alot. What are you eating? I am sticking to carbs only, little veggies and sometimes yogurt. This is working for me. Try to keep your carbs low. I plan on increasing my carbs during maintenance. I eat about 600-700 calories a day. You are doing fantastic!! Keep it up, you can do this!! -

Slowly losing
Threetimesacharm replied to divagirl78's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Firstly you have done great for 5 1/2 weeks out!! It's not ONLY. Secondly for me I try to keep my calories around 600-700 and eat mostly protein with a little veggie. I do have yogurt occassionally. I also have a protein shake for breakfast so that I can get in enough protein. -
