oh Suzie I din't even mention the lake... last time we went there, we rented a pontoon boat for the day, swimming sunning, lunch... just fabulas.

Kat and Suzie....Branson is GREAT.. GIRLS.. if you have not been there it is worth making plans for someday. But Clay who? There are tons of shows, attractions, shopping, Silver dollar city is a theme park... water parks, a motel there even has indoor waterpark (small) if it is cold when you go), an all night pool, sooo very many things to do and most are quite reasonably priced too. One hour drive from Springfield airport.. but I hear they are building one right there in Branson too. I love going to Branson!

Hi Terry - I live in Springfield Missouri.. I hope no one thinks I am implying we should all come here.. all though, there is quite a lot going on here too. lol Missouri is the "Show Me State". And it would be cheaper for me.hahahah

I weigh more right after it starts, until it's over. And I never get a fill on TOM.. because of internal swelling.. it causes my band to loosen up too much after TOM is over, even if they adjust it well.

My biggest lol (or smallest issue) is budget. Jen------ I am like you, driving would be way better than flying, but only, if it is cost effective. I don't want to be known as CHEAP- and don't like to be CHEAP, BUT.. SO--- How much can, a room, small dinner, and a tiny tequila cost? When spending time with this group I can't keep up with = priceless! I WOULD LOVE SOME TIME AWAY... unfortunately it needs to be "reasonable expense wise". Other than that I'm open for suggestions.

If I have "proper restriction", I am full feeling for 3-4 hours. With great restriction, I drink a shake for breakfast, and get hungry/not starving, for lunch at noon or 1. Good luck. Kimberly

My fill is ... acting up. They gave me a total fill of 2.7 a month before, and I got NOTHING from it.. quite frankly, I was starving ( I thought lol ) this time I went in, and they removed a "measurable fill" of only 2.2.. gave me 1/2 cc.. with my total fill ending up being 2.7 -AGAIN! What's up with that? I was really starting to worry, as I was not feeling restriction again, even after 3 days... today... RESTRICTION. My restriction "varies/changes" a little for 2 weeks after a fill... but this is just weird. Princess----------I am so happy for you! Sooner is always better than never. Congratulations on getting a date. When do you start the pre-op diet? Do you have a plan, tried any shakes etc...?

AS someone posted a couple pages back... I would love to experience KC. I am not far from it, but know very little about what it has to offer. I think they would have a good airport.?. Reasonable lodging, and tons of entertainment. How far would that be for "Jen"? Don't they have good BBQ too... I mean high protein meals.lol

I hope with some therapy, and no surgery you will be OK. If you require surgery, You will be in my thoughts and prayers. My Mom has had both of hers worked on, and has very limited range of motion in both, you are much healthier, active and young.. you should be just fine even with surgery. My doc allowed sugar free jello and sugar free pudding in the liquid stage... blender surprise can be pretty good too. Smoothies and tons of protein-you should do great----and welcome to LBT.

Singinmusicchick... Welcome and Congratulations on starting your journey. How's the family friend doing with the band? LIQUIDS.. I only had to do two weeks.. but variety was key for me. And lots of protein too.. it helps me feel fuller longer on liquids! Good luck.. Keep on posting.

Ok this may come off as really stupid.. but it is late, my 2 year old was very active today, and I have taken a sleeping pill over 1 hour ago... Are you ( FairyFacade or anyone ) saying that the rooms are FREE? If I can drive in less than 6 hours, and have Free motel room... this may be doable for me.
