I just read her book. It was really inspiring. He doctor that performed the surgery even had the surgery a few years ago. She looks amazing and is such an interesting woman. Really enjoyed everyone should check it out. I haven't been on here in a while I live in Northern Cali. If anyone is in the Bay Area let me know I would love do do something like the SCal bandsters are doing.

Hello fellow Marchies I am glad I came across this thread. I was banded on March 1st and i am going for my 3rd fill on May 21st. I paid for unlimited fills in the first year so I intend to tweek my restriction until I get that sweet spot. Besides I have cruise coming in August so I am determined to get this going. I hope I am not being to agressive with my fills. But I feel restriction but not to the level I have heard others speak of. I also haven't lost the weight that I wanted to by now. Although I had my second fill 8 days ago and since then I have lost 7 more pounds. But in the beginning I was eating the wrong soft foods. too many bad carbs not good.

The protein vials I got from my surgeon they are called New-Whey liquid protein they are 3.7 ozs and 42 grams of protein. they come in a variety of flavors and they taste like liquid jello flavors like grape, fruit punch, orange (my favorite) maybe you can order on the internet.

Hello Everyone. I was banded on March 1st and I have been recovering well. Except on day 5 I have been having pain in my shoulders and back. I think it was from gas from the surgery. I wonder if you can massage is out. Has anyone else had this problem. I came upon this sight a couple days ago and I am so happy that I found it. I also had soup today hot and sour soup so it had some tofu and I am scared that I messed something up I feel guilty.:phanvan

Hi I am new to this site and 7 days post op. I am not hungry and have been taking liquids well. When did you start exercising.

I found these vials that are 42 grams of protein, 3.1 ozs 176 calories, o fat , 0 sugar. they taste like liquid jello. orange is the best I drink at least three a day. Am I having to much protein or calories?

Hello I am 7 days postop. I have been drinking and recovering well. I have this drink that is 42 grams of protein and I make sure I drink two a day at least. Great tasting called Whey 42.
