Started pre-op diet today so far so good, surgery is Oct 9 starting to get real and my nerves are kicking in but I'm so freaking excited too! October is 6 days away and we all will get our turn to sit on losers bench...yay!!!! -

So I talk to BCBS and I am APPROVED!!!! I am wanting to the 1st date available in Oct. if my doctor receives the approval letter anytime soon... Just glad to know I'm approved the wait drove me crazy -
I talk to BCBS today and I was APPROVED yay!!! Hoping to have the 1st available date in Oct. They received my paperwork Monday and approved me Tuesday but no one ever put it in the system so when I called it still showed out for review but the nice lady I spoke with said it should be approved by now so she made calls and sure enough it was approved!!!

I was wondering if there is any out there that met all requirements with or without comorbalities but insurance still denied?

I have BCBS of OK which IL. Texas and Ok are all pretty much the same company my paperwork was submitted Monday for approval the wait is driving me crazy... Did you have any comorbalities? I have none but BMI is 41. -
What insurance do you have if you don't mind me asking?

My paper work was submitted on Friday I'm with BCBS I'm hoping it don't take to long. -

Anyone use Dr. Nick I went to seminar tues waiting on them to verify my bcbs of OK. Anyone know the steps after that? My BMI is right at 40 I'm nervous on my day to weigh that my weight will fluctuate and put me under do we weigh with our clothes on or a gown? any suggestion?

Hi Amy I know this is so off the subject but i have seen on here dr nick did your WLS I went to seminar tues how long did it take to hear back from office? I'm right at a 40 BMI and I'm afraid when I go to 1st appt my weight will fluctuate and put me under 40 did you have to weigh in your clothes or gown?
