2 scrambled eggs?
SleeveandRNYchica replied to ShyV.'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yeah when I told my NUT I could eat 2 eggs she almost spased out! I try to stick to whites, but I can eat 2 eggs, but I would not eat anything else with that. I think I can eat more than most and it worries me! -

UPDATE ON OCTOBER SLEEVERS WHERE ARE YOU
SleeveandRNYchica replied to chris54's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved 10/1 and down 45lbs. I am a slow looser and learning to except that. I work out 4-5 days a week and try to track what I eat even though my Nut doesn't want me to. I tolerate everything including sweets. I am in a stage now that I don't like meat or fish very much and I am learning to deal with that. I have been enjoying more beans and I eat a ton of eggs. I have another 55lbs to lose and it probably will take the whole year of not longer. I know my resting heart rate has improved and my heart rates during workouts are not off the charts. I am not perfect and some days are better than others. We are moving from Latin America to Virginia in a few months so my stress level will increase. I just try to take each day and not beat myself up. -
Struggling Eating Meat, HELP!
SleeveandRNYchica replied to SleeveandRNYchica's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yeah never thought about becoming a vegetarian. I will look at some high Protein dish ideas. I don't like fish right now either. I have been tolerating fine. It is the taste that I am not liking. I can tolerate everything I have tried. I am just wondering if anyone else has gone through this at 6 month mark. -
Struggling Eating Meat, HELP!
SleeveandRNYchica replied to SleeveandRNYchica's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't have a problem digesting, I just am don't like it. I have only thrown up once eating shrimp and that was early on. I have only had slimmies twice early on. I learned quick on how to eat because it was not a nice feeling. But not liking the taste is a new experience for me. -
Not comparing weightloss to others
SleeveandRNYchica replied to amytug's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I am almost 6 months out and 45 lbs down almost half way to goal but is has been a fight. Celebrate your accomplishments! If I compared myself to people on the forum I would be ready to jump off the nearest bridge. Since I am a slow loser exercise is essential for me. In the long run my body will be more conditioned and stronger for it. For that I am thankful because if it wasn't for the slow losses I may just give up exercise all together! You are doing fabulous!!!! Congratulations! -

Water Weight Gain with Cold and Cycle
SleeveandRNYchica posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Has anyone gained water weight while taking OTC's? Last week was a weird week. I got really sick (cold) and was on my cycle. I gained 7lbs. I knew it could not be right. Granted I had not worked out since last Thursday, but knew there was NO way I could gain 7lbs! I dropped 4 of those lbs yesterday. I am still suffering with congestion, but feel much better. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I go to Drs 1st week of April and will talk to him about it then as well. I was actually drinking more water to help flush out the cold and eating less. I knew I was not flushing because my urinating was not the greatest.- 6 replies

Water Weight Gain with Cold and Cycle
SleeveandRNYchica replied to SleeveandRNYchica's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I felt the same way! I felt like crap and was like whatever! Then the 4 lbs dropped, but just trying to figure it all out. I still feel like this sleeve is a guessing game. -

Bougie Size and Restriction
SleeveandRNYchica replied to ISleevedIt's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My doc used a 34. Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough restriction. I can eat and drink normally. I am also almost 6 months out. I also think I under eat my sleeve another reason I may never feel the tightness. I am scared of barfing... I must admit I am tired of chicken and get full on about 3oz. -

When did your toughest weight loss plateau occur?
SleeveandRNYchica replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I don't know if what I am experiencing are really stalls. I lost my first 30lbs the first 7 weeks post op and now I am down 45-48lbs (menstrual week gained 3) and I am almost 6 months out. It is a bit frustrating to say the least. I have not found that working out is making it easier either. I am just going with the flow. My body is comfortable in the 220s that has been my weight most of my adult life. I think once I get past this point I may make some headway.
