My scars looked great initially and then formed keloids. I am hoping with revision they use same entry points and I can use some silicone patching to assist with the keloids.

4 weeks OMG!!! I think my diet is similar with the shakes and bars. It is costing me $300.

I am having revision from sleeve to bypass. My information was submitted to Federal BCBS yesterday. My date is tentative for 10/7 or 10/14. I am excited and nervous. I am a bit more nervous about revision than I was sleeve. I will have a 2 week prop diet using bariatric advantage. I heard its a bit nasty so not looking forward to that.

OMG yeah LWOP is a beast! I may just ask for all advanced... It really sucks to be in a leave deficit. Maternity leave ate it up! I am ready too! Do you have a tentative date? Where are you having surgery?

When is your surgery?

Thanks, I was out on maternity leave last year so I exhausted my leave and have about 27 hours of advanced leave I have to pay back. Between sick kids and snow days I am grasping for hours. One thing since becoming a parent my leave is not my own! I spoke to my boss and she is going to check with our 15 to see of I can work some comptime, in addiction I may take of LWOP and and the rest have advanced... Not having leave is so stressful.

My surgeon is Dr. Halmi. Either 10/7 or 10/14 my paperwork was submitted to insurance today.

Glad to hear your recovery went well. With the sleeve I was back in 2 weeks. I want to be out 4 for this surgery but don't have the time at work.,,

Wow, you healed fabulously! You look amazing. I know it was not an easy procedure, but it look like it was well worth the outcome.

@SleevenChica: You will do fine. I had my sleeve surgery in 2013 and a revision; RNY, just a month ago. For me, it feels totally different from the sleeve because with the sleeve I was able to do more in a short time. But I'm still getting used to the RNY. Good luck! Thank you! I am Oct. In Fair Oaks too...

. My surgeon is very confident that a revision is possible and will be successful. I am confident in him. I am just nervous. All surgery comes with risk. My sleeve surgery was so successful as far as the recovery. I had a healthy pregnancy and my labs are perfect except low vit d. I am concerned about my overall health with the RNY.

I am having surgery in October at Fair Oaks.

I don't have a lot of leave. I am just wondering because I am having a hernia repair too if that is gonna require a little more time.

Do you have any medical issues such as GERD for revision?

I lived abroad and had my surgery abroad so they do things a bit different. So for my revision FepBlue required - psych exam, weight history since having sleeve, 3 month preop diet. Look in the fep book it is all outlined. I started the process in April, but I had to have some other tests done and they found some issues with my sleeve. So honestly I probably could have been done In Sept.

I have a tentative date of 10/7/15!!! The insurance coordinator just called me! Since I had my initial sleeve surgery abroad they needed documentation of my follow up care to show compliance, which I have. I emailed her my nutritionist log and my post surgery blood work. Tomorrow I will drop off the body fat scan my surgeon did preop and 6 months post op. She said she is seeing the insurance companies ask for more documentation showing compliance so she wants to be sure to send the a complete overview of my sleeve history!!!
