Ugh! I keep getting them, a million times a day! Anyone else experience this? I'm a week post op, and the last few days they just keep coming!

My surgery day bmi was 69. Almost 3 weeks post op now. Love how I am feeling.

I had my surgery on a Tuesday morning, and was back to work for a half day on Thursday, and a full day Friday. -

No Pre Op Diet??

I weighed 600 before surgery with a bmi of 70. So it all depends on your surgeons preferance....don't think bmi plays into their decision at all....my doc said some do because some think it shrinks the liver....mine said through all 3500+ he's done he didn't notice much difference with or without the pre op diet. -

Just got off the phone with my doc. Wanted to be sure I had his blessing to take anything. He told me to take a bottle of magnesium citrate, followed by 8 oz. Of water......still waiting. Pleaaaase! -

My doctor didn't put me on a pre op diet at all. Just nothing to eat past noon on the day before surgery. I was lucky I guess! -

I guess I was one of the lucky ones. My doctor didn't make me do any extended pre op diet. He said his studies have shown that the liver isn't that much larger then if you do a liquid diet for a eel or two. Thank you dr! -
Got home about 5 hours ago. Everything went very well....no issues. Only real pain is in my shoulders....but that will go away in a few days. Thansk everyone for the support.

I have a bmi at 69+ right now....and need to do something as I fear my life depends on it. I am engaged to be married next june....and hope to feel better about my life with my soon to be wife. So frustrated! Was supposed to meet with my potential surgeon today...but the accidentally overbooked my appt time. I now to next Friday. Minor setback...but was spool excited to meet the man that is helping me change my life. I'll keep those interested in the loop!

I feel ya there lindsay. I fly east a couple times a year to visit family. Can't wait to no longer have to whisper to the flight attendant..."can I get an extension please". Haha!
