I started on LapBankTalk because I was sure that was the route I was taking but I ended up with a RNY on my doctor's recommendations. At the same time, I formed nice relationships with a couple of women, one with lapband and the other planning for lapband but getting a sleeve instead. So here I am, on a lapbank discussion site without a lapband! I plan to stay somewhat active on the site as we are all in the same boat in a way.
My surgery was August 31, 2012 and I'm doing excellent. I have back and foot issues and hope the weight reduction with help with the pain. I work part-time (80%) and am 57 years old.
