My tastes changed too. The protein shakes I liked before surgery went in the trash. Just thinking of them make me want to gag. I never thought I would say this but chocolate doesn't interest me any more. And that is huge for me.

I am having the same trouble. I keep gaining and loosing the same pound for two weeks. I am 5 weeks post op and down 26 lbs. -

August 22nd. My upper endoscopy is tomorrow to check for a hiatal hernia.

The liquid diet won't be so long for me according to my doctor. Worried about it though. I won't see my nutritionist until July 31st. I wish the time would go faster. I just want to get it done.

I just got my date August 22nd. I too am scared but ready to do something for myself. I am new to chatting but it is so good to be to talk to others going through the same thing. Good luck to both of you. Please keep posting so we can track each others progress.
