Hi everyone! I havent been on for so long. I have been really busy but I really am glad to chat again. We went camping this past weekend. Had so much fun but also ate things I normally would have avoided. Time for a fill, I don't have that feeling of fullness I like to have. I have lost 40 lbs. I am pleased with that but I don't want to get too comfortable.

It seems we are all having issues with that scale. I did real good up until about 2 weeks ago, now I am stuck on this one weight! I think i will get my husband to hide the scale for a week and not worry about it. When I eat my small portion I am satisfied, but when I see chips I still want to eat them. New Dawn, you are right about the kids burger. Being we cant eat a lot at one time it is better than some choices I have made.

Yes I stay away from bread, rice, potato. The only white carb i eat is popcorn, but not everyday.

I had my surgery 9 weeks ago, my dr told me protein first then if you have room veggie or fruit. I have been eating some carbs & i havent been losing like I had been. Total i lost 36lbs.

Kim - YES! I want to eat more from afternoon until I go to bed. Sometimes I do feel like I need a fill then other days like today I have restriction. Go figure! About asking for a fill sooner, my dr. told me not to wait if I feel the need for one before appt. I get my 2nd one Oct. 31.

Kim, I also turn to carbs when I am hungry. Whats up with that! I have been stuck at this 248.6 lbs for a week, I know its because of carbs i shouldnt be eating. I love chips! I will be getting me some of the skinnypop popcorn, if I can find it here.

Lindabug, I have tryed it but dont try anything if you were told not to. I would hate if you had a problem b/c of what I said. But i didnt have any problem with the popcorn, I ate one at a time & chewed it well. A New Dawn, thanks for the recommendation on that popcorn, now where can you find that? Wal-Mart? Kim, thats for sharing that you are having an "off" day. I thought it was only me until I found this group. Marie

Kim - I love my popcorn, but last night I air-popped some, about 2 cups, I sure enjoyed it! I will be careful not to eat it everyday & not more than that.

Oh you did wonderful! I have about 110 to lose, I hope I can do as well as you have done. I wonder what makes the port leak? I read that you drink diet soda, I was told not to. You dont have any trouble with that?

I am Marie Istre, I had lapband surgery July 11, 2012. I am a 58 year old female, I am married. I am a school bus driver in Elton, Louisiana. I have lost 34 lbs., need to lose about another 120 lbs. I need some motivation right now, my weight has slowed down.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Kim, yes sometimes the scale isn't my friend either. NSV - some clothes that were too tight that now fit, easier to tie my shoes, my grandson has more room on my lap (my fav), more energy. What I really miss in carbs is my popcorn. The bread, rice & potatoes I don't miss too much. Does anyone eat popcorn?

Hi, I am new to this group. I had my surgery July 11, 2012. I have lost 34 lbs. I feel good. The real problem after surgery was weak & sick at my stomach. Other then that it wasnt bad at all. I had a hard time getting in enough protein & water. I am doing better with both. I was glad to read that other people have those days that they want to eat more then other days. I thought it was just me. I am really glad I found this group. Please keep me in your prayers & I will do the same. Marie

iwantababy, I eat healthy food. for breakfast I may eat 1 egg, lunch 1/2 cup red beans if I have room 1/2 cup of veg, dinner 1 chicken leg with 1/2 cup of veg. I will eat peanut butter or fruit for a snack if needed. I have been staying away from carbs pretty much. As for exercise I walk.

Yes I had my surgery 7/11/12 & had a really bad time with that. I hate to tell you but I still have a problem. I finally am taking softeners, doctors recommendation. They say to be sure to drink plenty of water.
