I got mine done over the break. but I could have went back to school after 2 weeks... no problems... . for me... anything before 2 weeks would have been too much for me to handle. I was in a little pain..... I find the struggle with being in school is the food...... I remember at the end of last semester I was on the pre surg diet... well exam time was in full swing and ive never seen or smelled so much fast food in the dorm.. people up all night in the books.... being on the liquid diet at exam time really sucked.... took the energy right out of me......... but it was well worth it Your gonna love it.....

I live in the dorm…. Had to fight to get off the meal plan at the school…. I haven’t really gone to the gym at all…. No time with school and work…. But I do make it a point to go out and walk….. weight loss has been good….school ends in a month and when it ends I’ll be hitting the bikes in the gym.. looking forward to seeing the difference in the weight loss Had it done over christmas break... has not been a problem this semester at all

I was walking from my class to my dorm room and I felt like running...I did not as there is about a foot of snow...... but what a feeling I am a little over a month and a half out of surgery.. ive lost just over 80lbs so far(including my pre surgery diet) every once in a while when I go for a walk I have this urge to run...... I think I might just try it

there was actually no talk of it. and in the papers I have it doesnt mention nuts.. but it does say the protein bars are ok

The Stomach Gurgles......
Mick123 replied to fluffylibra30's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am just over two weeks post and yea. stomach makes some funny sounds...its strange when someone is sitting beside you.... stomach goes off.......... then they just give you this look ha ha...... I have yet to make a comment about it.. I just give people a look back if they look..... ha ha -
I have been doing some research and I made the decision that I would go and get sleeved this December. I went to the hospital to get looked at(basically I needed my height and weight for my sleeve application) when I was at the hospital though, the nurse pricked my finger and told me that I had diabetes. I do not know much about diabetes and will be going back to the hospital in the morning for blood work and to meet with another doctor. I am just wondering if this discovery would put an end to my possible sleeve in Tijuana this December. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
