What is all the fuss about drinking water to lose weight?
bigsleeve56 replied to Wendydarling19's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
My point that I tried to make as a joke is that the Doc gives you alist of things to do and none of those things should be less important than the other. This list should be considered as absolute not as a " I will do this uless I can find some hoeky story on the internet that gives me an excuse to not try". -
If you deal with the head hunger issue now you will have less trouble after the vsg.

What is all the fuss about drinking water to lose weight?
bigsleeve56 replied to Wendydarling19's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
The goverment should outlaw Water you know how many people die each year in water relaited accidents. The world would be much safer and not need so many bathrooms. And no matter what you do, do not listen to the healthcare provider on what is good for you and what to do after surgery. in fact why do we pay them at all. -
By the time your are done with the two week liquid diet you wish you were dead so go for it. We all die sometime and this way you get to chose if it is being fat and dead or skinny and dead. I think skinny is way better less paul bearers.

Confessions of the newly sleeved
bigsleeve56 replied to Rena's got this's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Its not about whats in your stomach it is about the work the stomach muscles do to process real food. The muscles contract and move to break down the food in your stomach. If you had half of your hand removed would you grab things and squeez them? The doc. does no best and that is why you pay them they do not make up these diets post op to torture us they do it to make best outcome with the leaste complications. And coming on here to find a reason to cheat is not a good sign for sucess -

PLEASE rethink surgery! it's cancer causing, do the reasearch! :(
bigsleeve56 replied to harringm13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Youtibe and wikapedia are great for research not so good for facts. We all want something to blame when things go wrong cancer is a sad thing. Why is not as important as getting better so move on and find a way to get better instead of trying to draging a bunch of people down with you. My chances of getting cancer have went down with this weight loss but no one knows for sure what causes cancer and most studies show corilation not cause. Studies on breast cancer and certain family trates only show a corilation not a cause. If some how telling everybody on this forum that they are going to die from cancer mak get better go ahead but state real facts and state that GERD has been found to be a factor in getting cancer not a cause and if you have sever GERD than check with your Doctor. With my Insurance and my surgen GERD would have kept me from having the sleeve or band and move toward RNY. -

Tuck and roll and duck tape work pretty good. Plastic Surgery sucks worst thing I ever did to my self. Do not worry about skin and enjoy the new life you will get. -
