    I think is is great to read success anywhere. I am getting banded on Monday September 24 and it is these successes that makes me know I am doing the right thing.

    I also think it is harder because of the hunger pangs of a normal sized stomach. I have had a headache for the 3 days I have been on this quest. I pray it is better once my stomach can only hold a small amount.

    I like what you sad. I think we are put on the diet, aside from shrinking the liver, just to kick start the diet process. I do not think perfection is expected. Do not beat yourself up.

    As a nurse working in home care and having started the liquid diet I have decided to take 2 weeks off so that I can get past the liquid stuff.

    I know. I am on day 3 and feel sick. I just need to get through this. I had started exercising and am wearing a size smaller dress so I am going to fight through. I am still trying to get a really good shake.

    It took me 3 days. They only approve for a " less than 23 hour" stay.

    I am on day 3. This is rough. It is amazing how our diet affects us. Last night I developed a massive headache and was vomiting. It was terrible. How do you get the optifasr shakes?

    I must look through my binder again but I feel unclear as to the number of shakes and/ or calories I can have in a day.

    You are all so encouraging. I am so excited to get the surgery and know this too shall pass. I see now as a result of this that it will be better for me to stay off until I am at least up to soft foods.
