Yes it is a good one and one that should not be taken for granted. Unfortunately my niece's marriage ended in divorce. Hubby could not handle the changes. She looks stunning! -
I was banded on 9/24. I have to laugh because I was dreaming of sucking up an ice cream Sunday that was melted. I know solid food will bone again. I am not hungry but having weird dreams.

I was told not to take my vitamins until I go to see my doctor. I called to confirm. I am just feeling weakened but I do feel better having showered and walked around the house. My husband has been savior through all this.

What should I be expecting? I feel weak? I hope I did not write this twice as all I can do is sleep. Is something wrong? Or is this normal.

Today is post op day four. I am not really sure what I am supposed to feel as regard the weight loss. I am trying to take in liquids every hour, sips at a time. Is there something else supposed to be going on? I laugh because I am a nurse and I have been a lousy patient with understanding things. -

Today is day 4. I am feeling a bit better. Walked in the house. Really going to try and get myself moving today.

I am not sure why he did that but for me it was such a great move. I wasn't thinking about anything and prior to all this I was taking ibuprofen for bilateral knee pain. Having that coupled with abdominal pain would have been a mess. From that front I feel great.

My doctor placed a Fentanyl patch for pain which stays on for 3 days. I gave pain medication but have not had to take it. I get up to go yo the bathroom but that is about all the strength I have. Trying to drink a little every hour but don't wAnt to drink too much and get nauseous. Perhaps because I also had a hernia repair is why I feel so bad.

I am 2 days post op and feel like crap. I get out of bed to go to the bathroom but that is it. I need some strength. Any advice?

Do not put that on your daughter and potentially have a disaster. Call your doctor. They will work with you. -

Surgery was done. I am a bit sore. I have been feeling nauseous throughout the night. I did get out of bed last night. I know it will get better. Waiting to go for a swallow test. Thank you all for your prayers.

Finally I am going for surgery. It seems like it has been a long haul but I have finally arrived at my date. Please say a prayer! I have to be hat the hospital at 6am. I am the first case.

I have family members who have the sleeve and others have the lap band. As they stress, this is just a tool. There are very good weight loss from the lap band as from the sleeve.
