    Can't Do The Puree!

I ate every soup I could lay my hands on. I dont know how to make soups for one so I ended up looking at the premade ones for the highest protein content. Bean soup has a good consistancy, good taste and high protein. Hang in there this stage will not last long but you need to follow the guidelines so that you can heal.

    Fall Clothes!

seriously was telliing my daughter this weekend that I am still wearing the same underwear from 114 lbs ago... looks like I have a pile of crap in my pants.lol!! I bought 2 pair of capris size 18 and 4 extra large shirts to wear to work and now they are too big... but I like most of you hate buyiing until I get where I need to be. I know I look bigger when I wear clothes that are too big for me. So its a catch 22. Definatly need to get some new underwear tho- :-)

    Realistic Goals

I sometimes wonder if the goal I picked is realistic or not. I have been a "big" girl for over 20 years so dont know if I am setting myself up for failure or not. I have set a goal weight but it isnt set in stone. I am just gonna see where this wild ride takes me and go from there. Honestly just want to weigh what my drivers license says I weigh! ha!!

    Just Curious

I am six months post op and am lucky to get 800 calories a day. Still never hungry. But I focus on my protein first. On the up side I am fully satisfied as far as my hunger goes which is a blessing as I never knew that feeling before!!

    525 Pounds

You can do this!!!! I would suggest seeing a nutritionist and having them put you on a nutritional program geared for you and the weight loss you desire so that you can have surgery. Good luck hun!!

    Difficulty Trying New Foods

I have the same issues... And I 6 months out. Rotisserie chicken from the Walmart deli is my friend. I peel back the skin and the chicken is so moist. I can still eat very little but at least it's protein and I can get it down. Good luck
  17. Jen... I have 4 apps I use faithfully. My weight tracker... Not only for pounds but watching my bmi go down, my fitness pal to track everything that goes in my mouth and my exercise. Nervous!

I had surgery in feb ..and the pain for me lasted about a week and a half. I slept in a recliner for about that long. I does get better... Patience is the key in this whole process
  21. I have to lose pretty close to 200... I started at 340 and want to be 165. I had surgery feb 2012 and am down 113 lbs... I have a weight tracker app on my phone it's been nice to watch it go down from 175 to lose to now 65. It's been a great ride watching my body change but more importantly my attitude. I'm happy and there is no other feeling like it. I keep thinking now... What's it gonna feel like to be that girl who is struggling to lose that last 5 lbs...can't wait to gripe about that... Lol!!! It can be done ladies... Let's do it!!!!

    Feels So Good

It's surreal to get compliments. Kinda freaks Me out a little bit. Not used to it and I usually don't know how to respond.
