    chicken noodle soup

    How far out are you? I ate chicken noodle soup post op but just the broth... for some reason it tasted better to me then just chicken broth.

    Only suggestion I have is quest bars which are not home made but are absolutely awesome... Except the strawberry cheesecake it's gross!!! Great protein and fiber

    Fat Calories In My New Diet Plan. Help!

    emt... my doc suggest 70-90 g protein a day. I do not count calories or fat just protein. Think atkins diet. DL Coggin has a list of high protein foods.. If you message him he will email it to you. Good luck bud!!

    Stay away from the carbs girl!!! Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, almonds, laughing cow cheese, quest bar, baby bel lights... Better options to name a few!

  15. Pffttt if they don't work... I have been using jergins firming with collagen... It makes my skin feel wonderful and it smells really good. Only 4 bucks at Walmart!!!

    Remember hormones are being released with the fat like crazy. About month 3 you guys will feel fine!!!
  18. Ok so gastric bypass I have learned is like religion or politics everyone has there own opinion and yes there are people that have failed and yes there are people who get sick. If you follow the protocol that your doctor and nutritionist have set out for you , you will be fine. My daughter took a nutrition class also this semester and her prof. Told her she needed to have higher carbs... I mean really wth!!! I'm sure you did extensive research before surgery and know you made the right decision. Don't let someone who hasn't probably done half the research you have make you second guess your decision. Hugs!!

    Liquid Intake... Rny Post Op 5 Days.

    It wasn't really until my 3rd week post op I started concentrating on my protein... What you guys need to worry about right now is staying hydrated.. There are some horror stories on this board of those who did not stay hydrated and ended up back in the hospital. Good luck!!

    I was told malt O meal, how about some of the creamy soups.. If u like bean and ham soup it's got pretty protein and felt good on my tummy at that stage.
