You got this!!! Buy some different samples and find the protein drink that works for you. I like the one from Walmart.. Chocolate. Don't buy too much of the one you like now because you will more then likely hate it after surgery!!

Calorie counting (early stages)
kristy3k replied to ready2smile's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
In the beginning just worry about getting your protein in... I never worried about calories... You won't hit anywhere near gaining weight stats calorie wise. 60-90 grams of protein a day! -
I take a multi, iron, biotin, calcium, d, and give myself a b12 shot once a month oh and I just added vitamin c to the mix

did it make you kind of sad that no one said anything? Or were you just relieved that no one did? In the beginning if no one said anything... I was always like what the heck?? I think I'm just a weirdo -

kristy3k replied to jaymi2521's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ingredients: 1/4 cup hot sauce 1/2 cup low fat buttermilk 1 1/2 lb chicken tenders 2 egg whites 1/4 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste 1/8 tsp black pepper Directions: 1.Preheat oven to 400°. Place a wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet. 2.In a small bowl, whisk together hot sauce and buttermilk until combined. In a large shallow dish, arrange chicken tenders in one layer. Top with hot sauce mixture and toss to coat chicken evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 3.In a shallow dish, whisk egg whites until frothy. In another shallow bowl, combine flour, bread crumbs, paprika, cayenne and black pepper. 4.Dip chicken tenders in egg whites, then roll in bread crumb mixture to coat evenly, shaking off the excess. Arrange coated chicken tenders on wire rack on baking sheet. Lightly spray with canola oil cooking spray. 5.Bake for approximately 15 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, or until juices run clear. Serve immediately. Made buffalo chicken tenders . Found the recipe on the Hurley medical center website when I was googling gastric bypass friendly recipes. Had 34 g of protein per piece and I could eat about 1/4. Easy to make and really good. My focus now has been recipes the whole family can eat. That's pouch friendly -

You just suck it up... I wear a sports bra all the time now... Even when I sleep. But fitting into size 10 pants is such a rush for this former size 28 gal!!! Things are tightening up with the exercise I am doing but saving my pennies so in 2014 I can have a little work done :-) -
Im going to start documenting any rash that I get plus any chafing for the year of 2013 in hopes that insurance will cover a tummy tuck in 2014. I agree with BB that flap just wont go away for me.

I took 6 weeks only because I had the sick leave accumulated and had fmla... work for the government. But felt crappy until about week 3 and then started feeling better. If you can take 3-4 weeks I would. It will help you get in your daily requirements at home and figure out what you can and cant do without the added stress of work. Just my opinion.

sounds like you are doing everything right. The only thing I added to your list is I use Garnier fall fight shampoo and conditioner. Other then that it sounds like you are getting in your protein and biotin.

I drink a cup of smooth move tea every other day. Its a herbal tea and It helps me. You can get it at walmart. With all the vitamins we have to take I thought this was better then a pill.
