Women and Hormones...
kristy3k replied to sleevemeup's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Everyone you can imagine. The fat you lose releases a ton of hormones. Tell everyone around you to be patient... It will pass -
tuna is a tough one to choke down. I would be really careful with it.

Anyone else have days when they are exhausted?
kristy3k replied to worm2872's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think you are still healing from major surgery. You are only 2 months out right? Body is still dealing with a lot of crap. Give your self a break and a chance to be human. We are not superwomen much as we would like to think that we are....There are still some days where I feel tired. We eat so little and do so much trying to get this weight off that I think sometimes we burn the candle at both ends. -

Are you getting at least 64 oz of water in a day? Are the temps hot in Afghanistan? Even if you are adjusted to the temps there, you have had a major surgery and need to make sure you are getting plenty to drink. Congrats on your weight loss!!

Fat releases a ton of hormones, which is the reason I just had an ablation 11 months out. My periods were horrible.
