You look spectacular!!! -
And I can eat a whole one too... But like I said I'm also a year out and can eat more now
-
I don't know the answer to that. I'm a year out... I was doing one a day and stopped because weight loss slowed and was trying to figure out why. I just eliminated carbs. So now they are reserved for a treat.... That I certainly enjoy. If you have a nut I would be interested in getting their take on it.. If you get can answer let me know... But if you are losing weight and not overrating or are where you want to be.. I don't think they are harmful

I love them... The peanut butter and jelly hit that major craving... Hate the cheesecake. The chocolate peanut butter is good. Love all the fiber they have!!! Just don't eat them too often... It's an awesome treat

Phenomenal!!!!
-
I would say its kind of like a personality test... Those kinds of questions.. Asked different ways... Just be honest... Common sense should prevail
-
Easiest part of the whole process... Just time consuming
-
Soups my go to... Idk why.. And usually I google the menu before we go anywhere so I can calculate nutritional info if its not already listed in my fitness pal

How are you feeling Lisa... And what's for dinner?? Lol. I'm gonna try this balsamic mushroom chicken I found the recipe for on spark people. -
Don't beat yourself up!! Crap happens...good thing is that you can't eat much of the things that you know you shouldn't. Pick yourself up and today... Concentrate on your protein. Eat every 2-3 hours something small that is protein. You got this girlie!!!

For me personally it was a while before I could handle tuna. At 2 weeks I was pureed stage and was eating soups and other creamy things. When I did finally start on tuna, chicken etc.. it had to be really wet.. like alot of ff mayo. I started with rotisserie chicken from walmart.. .dark meat as it seemed moister. Little bites and chew the hell out of it.

I would worry about getting an ulcer drinking alcohol this early after surgery. Things that dont affect you now may in a month or so after all the nerve endings of your new pouch heals. Honestly I think you are playing with fire drinking alcohol and coke this early in to the procedure. You may not be getting sick now but who knows what it is doing to your pouch. Just my two cents. Good luck

kristy3k replied to pookybear's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm pretty sure it's hunger.. Try and eat something small every 2-3 hours -

Went to my one year post op appt yesterday. Iron and protein was on the low side. He told me to take a second iron... Ugh have constipation issues and start drinking a second shake... Double ugh. For one... Am I stupid to think of it like empty calories... Yes I am... Just suck it up! Anyway he wanted me to way 175 when I first started... I'm now down to 162.. And want to got to 158... He rolled his eyes and laughed when I told him I just wanted to be in the normal bmi for my height. I know it's just a number.. But it's right there within reach. Losing about 1-2 pounds a month now if lucky. But feeling great!
-
Kayley ... These were awesome... Very filling. Do you store the leftovers in the fridge?
-
I hit my goal weight but have readjusted it down to 158 ... Im stalled too but not worried. I am pretty happy where I am at and feel like my body will lose if it wants to. The thought of all liquids is not even appealing to me... but ya know it might just jump start you. Good luck
