How exciting!!!!

If what you say is true... we are all failures. All of us have an unhealthy addiction to food and that is why we got to the size we are. Pull up your big girl panties, get back on track and do what you have to do to be able to have this life changing surgery. You got this!!!

I think with any stall BBoodle is right... you have to change things up. If you arent logging what you are putting in your mouth you need to. You need to make sure the protein is where it should be and you need to exercise no matter what.... Just having surgery doesnt ensure weight loss... it is a tool. I know a guy that didnt lose... he was putting pizza spaghetti you name it in a blender and not moving his ass. He drank alcohol like crazy and wondered why he wasnt losing. Look at what you are and are not doing. Consult your doctor or nut... they are there to help you!! Good luck

OK... my take on this...love ya girl... but a mothers job is to protect her kids. If any of your kids are being abused then it is your job as the adult to get them out of the situation. No amount of money in the world would have me stay with a man that abuses me or my kids. Now with that being said you are going to do what you are going to do.. but how sad is it that your underage daughter is having to make such a heart wrenching decision. God bless you honey I hope it all works out.

kristy3k replied to cbelhaj's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Why are you discouraged... the scale will go up and down so many times on this journey. Follow doctors protocol and the weight will continue to come off like its supposed to. This is just a little blip... your body is like oh my god... real food... hoarde it!!!! You will be fine. I promise -

kristy3k replied to pebulz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
ok... I have been at this whole process for 15 months. No way I thought I would be where I am today. Started out at 340... now struggling to maintain 154. Dont want to be any smaller... dont want to look sickly. I was textbook case. No real issues except the mourning of food... I have followed the plan to a T. Not to say I didnt try no no things to see if my new pouch could handle it... 9 times out of 10 it couldn't... but work this new tool that you have and you will be successful. -
Oh goodness. Walking and gas x did it for me as well. Hang in there girls

Where Are You in Your Weight Loss Journey?
kristy3k replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
great poll. I am trying to figure out the balance of what I need to eat now to maintain and not lose anymore. Its such a weird feeling to not try and lose anymore. To some 154 lbs is still alot... but I am almost 5'8" and wearing a size 8 and med shirts and that is small enough for me. I dont want to look sickly and I feel better than I have in years. Thanks so much for this sight Alex... I dont know what I would have done without the support I have gotten on here!!!! -

I have read that eating something.. Mind you not crap every 2-3 hours keeps your blood sugar level and you metabolism going. I do try and follow this rule. It's a very small amount.. Usually high in protein ..

Stricture + Ulcer has anyone had both at the same time?
kristy3k replied to BBdoodle's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's horrible!! I hope she finds relief soon.. And hopefully someone has some insight. I always think that if you go a year with no problems your probably good to go but that just goes to show that these problems can come up at anytime! -
Things I will not miss...
kristy3k replied to terry1118's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I Will not miss trying to hide the inner thighs of my pants because I have worn the material away. I will not miss buttons popping and zippers breaking. I will not miss weighing more than my husband. I will not miss being a couch potatoe -
I had mine put in thru my neck... I was awake but numb worst experience of my life. I left it in rather then subject myself to the kind of torture I went thru.. It was a horrid experience

Sometimes as we go further along in the process we think we are experts... Some of the posts I see sometimes need to come with the following disclaimer... Please follow your doctors orders. I am not a medical expert. Please please please remember we all just share our own stories and experience. But your doctor is the best place to go when requiring any medical advice!!!!

Awwww. That's horroble
