Stress Through The Roof!

Thank you all so much- truly I feel like a big mess and have some anxiety about returning to work tomorrow. Whoever posted about counseling. Well being a therapist and now supervising behavioral health- I want to say that's an awesome suggestion, however, been there done that. We r past that point. I do think the hormone point is probabaly valid too. I'm a mess all of a sudden. And again- being off a mont and returning tomorrow scares me a bit. Thank you all so so much. Xxxxoooo -

During my surgery they found LOTS of cysts on my ovaries and during my follow up I found out that dr also found a nodule, biopsied it and it came back abnormal. I have NEVER had problems before. She referred me to an OBGYN- which I haven't been to since I was preggo 16 years ago (I go to my GP regularly). Luckily she took pics of the cysts and hopefully can send results over to OBGYN for my biopsy results. I go meet and see her today. I HATE these visits- but then again- who likes them? Ugh a. For the first time in my life (and many health issues I've been through) I'm slightly nervous about possible outcomes. I'm told likely something like endometriosis or PSOD? No big deal then. Ugh. Just needed to get that off my chest. Speaking of chest- Off to get mine tampered with shortly!

I don't have incision in belly button :0. Interesting. I do have a couple low enough and one on my other side of tummy where they took stomach out. Thank u all- I am thankful but I'm kinda with PDX- I feel like at this point they are doing extr tests. The pics in surgery I thought were great to have. But e already has pics now- why the ultra sound? She said that the cysts should be less (they tend to be more apparent around TOM) and willl check again in 4/6 weeks. Oh good. Can I do this again? She said I'm too young to take my ovaries. I wanted to say "I'll decide if I'm too young. Take those babies anytime!". Sheesh. I know it's in my future so why wait? Not that I'm looking from surgery anytime soon. She also said they they usually treat endometriosis with birth control which I have never had because of a blood clot. Gah! I hate this. Thanks for your support

You know- I'm very proud of identifying as a conservative republican but you Cindi is what gives us a bad name. I'm embarrassed by your comment and hate that your comments and those of the like tend to group us conservatives together. Sick. OP- hope all is going well.

PDX- no clue but I'm glad they did So they wanna do an ultra sound. So I'm sitting at reception to schedule and it dawns on me- WHAT KIND?!?!? (I'm a spaz). Receptionist didn't know. I asked her to find out. Not what I was hoping for. A damn vaginal one? Do those hurt? I may cancel by end of day. Scheduled it for tomorrow. Dr didnt seemed worried. So I wont either. Ugh

Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
Justine13 replied to newgrandmother's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yey! We r almost a month . I almost bought a protein bar but chickened out because of calories or carbs. I feel like I can eat a lot but maybe I'm not? Yesterday and now today for the first time I feel like eating is a chore. Before that it was cravings galore! Maybe it's out of my system? Glad you are doing better -
From what I'm reading is that we r all different (i say we as I have done such evaluations before). The answer to your question is yes they can certainly put a hold on the procedure but that is usually because of what you described- severe mental health issues. Be yourself- talk about your struggles- your support system for pre and Post surgery and just be honest. There's a reason for these Evals. Some do testing which don't lie on because it can tell If you are lying. Some (like previous poster said) are just conversations. I'm sure you will do wonderful. Good luck!

Yep- 3 week stall. I only lost the first week and stalled for another week. It'll kick back in gear. Make sure you're drinking 64 ounces and getting your protein in. -

Justine13 replied to OneManWolfpack's topic in The Guys’ Room
**giggle** Sorry- im creeping on your post and you are asking the guys. Great question and It sounds like you actually have some great friends with great humor . Good luck. I'm certain you have and will get some good responses. Maybe you need to be prepared with the most witty, sarcastic, blow them out of their seats comeback to what they might say :-). I have no idea what that may be - ok men- Your turn . Heeee Heee. Thanks for the giggle. (believe me I do understand its a serious topic) -
Maybe TMI but for the first time since surgery I wish I would puke. I had taco salad (just the meat, cheese and some tomato) and it went down too well. I think I ate too fast and too much. How long will this yuck feeling last? Lessen learned omg.
