I just wrote it down in my list to ask my doctor Monday. I, too, have Factor 5 and had a blood clot when I was Pregnant 17 years ago. Hmmmm

I'll try not to take offense to all of your posts however- I can offer that what they want to know is 1). Are u emotionally stable 2) do u have a support system and 3) how likely are u going to follow thru with doctor recommendations It bugs me to hear my colleagues are not professional in their approach to this sometimes because I think it's a very important part of the process. Anyway- that's the reality of what they want I know about you. Just be you :-)

One of most frightening things that happened to me this summer was being at a local amusement park and my adolescent boy wanted to go on a roller coaster. I wasn't going to for different reasons but nonetheless they had a seat to sit in prior to the ride to see if you fit. No more measuring height. This time it was a matter if my fat ARSE would fit! Humiliating.

I get it as well. I'm not even anxious about the surgery yet because the darn waiting and insurance company has all of my anxiety. It's the worst part- it has to be. So we will make it thru this---- because everyone else did. Oh and I gained weight at every single NUT appt. I have my last one on Monday.

I have a conference this morning out of town for work which means COMFY clothes. However I'm looking around my room appalled because I don't really have any that fit comfy :-( Countdown to insurance approval. Prayers please..... Xxxx

Thanks everyone- I felt so unprofessional today too- I love dressing up- its a perk of my job but I refuse to buy bigger clothes so lately I feel like crap. Blech. Thanks again .

That was so inspiring to read!! I would have had to buy 10 pair!! Sooooo fun! I can't even imagine shopping in that section let alone a size 10. I'm with you- that has to be more rewarding than any chocolate chip cookie

Awww so close to your big day! So excited for you. Nice to hear the positive attitude through your liquid diet phase. Your focusing on the end goal quite nicely and that will help you through the first few weeks after too from what I've read good luck!
